People have some of the craziest, most beautiful experiences of their life at music festivals. What are some fond memories you have?

was at this huge ultraworld party some years ago and there was some oldish woman riding some guys donger right in the middle of the floor in the dnb room. people were all looking at it not really believing it was happening. they wernt naked, just had the bare essentials out, and i mean bare lol. all the other stuff is pretty usual, rolling face and getting giving rubs, making out with random chicks...man fun times.

bumping k--cross legged in the grass--after a nice roll at a shit mass rave in NJ, then hitching a ride to Philly for an afterparty on some caps and stems donated by the same raver southies from boston

they were cool kids, and one of them even used his card to call a professional jimmy of my ride

I locked my keys in that car many hours earlier...!

I could go on, but will not.

:D

I went to the Pocono Rock Festival back in the early 70's high on a hundred dexedrine and acid for 3 days and observed a group of thieves in front of us robbing from everwhere. Coming back with wallets and jewels that they would split up like it was nobodies business. One of them saw me and knew I knew what was going on and spread the word to the others who apparently knew how high I was. They started to do shit to freak me out saying things like knife him and finally one stood in front of me with his back to me with a large heavy cooler and was bending backwards as if to drop it on me. I flipped stood up and took off running. I used to run a low 50 second quarter mile in track and had run a 4:16 mile. I went through tents, stepped on people briefly I was moving so fast. Security was taking me to the medical tent when I heard Emerson Lake and Palmer begin there show. Again I was in the wind heading to the stage, the rest of the concert was fine. Although when I found my friends we had a 2 mile walk back to the car and they said I kept approaching cars trying to open the doors saying were here. Slept for 20 some hours after that.

I fucked some older woman in the middle of a dance floor. I can't remember but I think it was during a dnb set.

I went to a psytrance party in London and ended up at an afterparty in Newcastle.

In that state, I thought it was right outside the city, as I'm not English.

Fell asleep on the train and ended up having a great time there.

Didn't realize Newcastle was 300 miles away until I asked how to get back to London for my flight.

ANZAC Day is a public holiday here, sort of like Remembrance Day or Veterans day where time is taken to commemorate soldiers from both sides who originally fought WW1. One of the crews who run Doofs will always put on a free day party in a local park. Traditionally on this day the Last Post is played on sunset. The dance floor was still and sombre as the sun dipped and the final notes of the bugle drifted into the night. Then the DJ dropped a heavy beat, breaking the silence and the dancefloor erupted into a storm of dust and sweaty bodies. The energy and vibe was amazing, it was as if we all agreed that those poor bastards who sheltered from the bombs in a muddy trench 100 yrs ago would have given anything to be with us right now grooving under the stars.

The drugs probably would have been a welcome distraction too I'm sure ;)

I went to edc chicago 6 day drive there got pulled over leaving city and k9d but had everything sealed up. Got there had amazing time all three days. Had ketamine dealers as tent neighbors. I rolled dropped blotter and scored mints. On the drive back during tornado season on the high way we had to go threw huge rainstorms and winds giant green clouds.
This was with my two brothers and it was truly a life changing experience.

Weeks later drove to edc vegas with one of my brothers. Again was amazing rolled twice and fried. Saw different parts of vegas which was crazy.

Been to mutiple festivals in Id konnection and massive were great for being all local and really run by the people outside of the actual event. All had camping which is a must. Its almost like its own beautiful community at a rave. Almost open air everybody is super friendly and just looking to have a good time.

26/27 of Oct 2012@Promise Party in the Sterling Warehouse in Toronto.

Was working as the paramedic for the event, along with my (then) best friend. We had a huge fight. I kinda really liked her. She was dating some douchebag hipster. She like bounces for a smoke/bathroom. Takes forever. I was thinking she ditched me.

She comes back. Gets down on one knee. Grabs my hand. Asks me to marry her.

I say yes.

Grab our EMS gear, go inside to the electro n dub stage. We dance and make out hella til close. Collect our pay, and go to a sketchy hotel above an equally sketchy after-hours, and have kinky sex and fall asleep in others arms.

I'm a local from Wisconsin around the Milwaukee area, so I've gone to summerfest every year all 10 days for as long as I can remember. However last summer I went to my first true music festival called "summerset" in somerset, WI.

It was truly a live-changing experience. Was my first time rolling, and by God I rolled balls. The sets were amazing, with artists like Big G, Passion Pit, Common, STS9, Diplo, GRiZ, Zedd, Adventure Club, Floss, so many more. The amount of people I met there is insane, and my group along with some tent buddies around us bonded so much that we still keep in touch and are planning on going to Electric Forest this summer.
