life's just been a downward spiral, but there was always this one person you know you can trust, but when your life starts to get better, you expect that friend to stay, i guess i expected way too much.

Unicorn, this is unfortunate and I am sorry that this has happened to you. Sometimes we grow away from our closest of friends. When this happens it is very difficult to tell the person. As unfair as this sounds, it happens. It hurts so badly beacuse you would think that your best friend would let you know or discuss it with you. There are people that you will meet that will become you new friends. As we grow and change, we need to surround ourselves with people who mesh with us or who will continue to grow with us. Try to see this as an opportunity to find a new and fresh connection with someone.
