I grew up thinking I wasn't very smart at all, poor parenting I guess. It wasn't I attended college in my mid-50s did I realize I had more going on upstairs than I realized by the grades I got. It's a shame to feel dumb when you are really quiet intelligent, such a waste.

I think it’s even more of a waste when you’re fully aware since 4 years old that you’re probably the smartest in the room, and you still end up being a major underachiever 😪
 
118. The weird sudoku style patterns started hurting my eyes towards the end. lol. I've got to go to the Dr. and get my Ritalin prescription ASAP before I start school. My brain likes to check out towards the end of things and it's frustrating af.

I feel as though self-awareness plays a role here. If you think about it, I don't really feel as though we are truly supposed to know that our life will come to an end. To understand the true nature of our mortality- and to live in a world where our main purpose is to get up and go 'hustle,' instead of working for ourselves, to create a sustainable life. We live in a world where we are separated from nature. Where we are plugged into screens all day. Where we have access to anything and everything. Convenience and a lack of delayed gratification make life feel dull. Those with lower IQs aren't worried with such things. (Ignorance is bliss.) But for those of us who sit in our head with the reality that is modern day living- it can be hard to cope. I believe that has a lot to do with why we reach for drugs. Also, many people who are intelligent are also socially awkward and have a harder time connecting with others, which can also cause us to reach for substances.
 
I dont trust them with the dollar and the information. (Which lets face it if mensa wants my information...) So probably not great.

huh I am a bit surprised there is not an official and free test you can take online. Seems like something a person should know about themselves and have available.

SUDOKU like sounds like those tests they have at miitary draft. They never disclose what was the outcome. Tried to fuck it up but that didnt work out. Was found fit enough to serve as meat. I should try ask up my draft file maybe, probably possible.

Still those test feel like a wise one would never go beyond question .. because it is so irrelevant not challenging to finish especially when considering what they are so called [wordplay] are measuring.

Makes you wonder what and who invented that wisdom

My grandmother plays Sudoku every day. She swears it keeps her mind sharp. She’s 80 and still as sharp as a fiddle so it must work lol.
 
ive been told im smart but im not that smart.

ive been told i have an encyclopedic knowledge of everything

on here ive been told im an amazing and talented writer

a dude who told me he got tested at 123 told me im the smartest dude hes ever met.

but realistically i have had two traumatic brain injuries since i got iq tested and i cant seem to get those results.

i dont know what my iq is but id guess 120 plus.

i have extreme difficulty communicating with people mostly because for the vast majority of people they have no clue what im saying because my vernacular is different than theirs.

my best friend is ashkenazi jewish and he has better ram memory than i do but i have a better hard drive and access to more files at any given moment. hes more specialized.

that said most of my valuable relationships have been with people of a more profound intellect

i test in the 99th percentile on the elevate app.

but i chose to become a heroin user and i dont think thats very smart at all.

Had these kinda things in mind. @theangryflower can confirm if these are a bit like that irritating Sudoka like things. The test they did at army draft. Very old school one was filled with these. Wasn t really motivated att. But i wonder what would the purpose be ? Ravens Progressive Matrices test
