Wet weed vs. Dry weed.

Which do you guys perfer? I perfer my reefer to be sticky and more wet than dry and crumbly. But I was wondering if there was a true difference in the two styles?

It really bugs me when weed is all dry and breaks apart easly.
I always found sticky weed to much more better, like the high

Considering that you get 80-90% of water when you buy "sticky" weed then it is dry all the way

There is a fine line between the two and thats why i prefer dry bud that has been cured 4 weeks any more than 8 weeks and the bud is too dry imo

Yeah I dont know it seems when I get the sticky its always better than say when its dry.

No, it doesn't. What happens is that the THC-COOH is decarboxylated to THC, so weed gets more potent as it dries (much to my chagrin, as I once had a very heated discussion on here in which I advanced the opposite view). As others have said, I don't like paying weed prices for water. It's an expensive way to get water. As for the theory that sticky weed is better...my only suggestion is that the wetness is from resin rather than from water. I also think that the obsession with totally dry weed can go too far, I'd rather my weed had a touch more moisture than, say, Amsterdam bud which crumbles to dust in your fingers.

It all depends on the strain, some have a bigger self life than others

Bluebery and nl can be stored for 6 months + without loosing potency, try doing that to a lowryder though and all you smoke is dust

If the weed is sticky from the resin it should still crumble and have no added weight by water ie it should be dry all arround and sticky close to the stalk

Amsterdam weed has been fast dried and is cured for a max of 2 weeks and if that, only a couple of coffeshops have proper cured weed: grey area and bluebird from my experience

either scrupulous *snip* gangsters cutting it and bagging it without even drying or curing (max profits)
or getting bud and wetting it with water or whatever to increase weight.

when i buy herb i want cannabinoids and bud. if i wanted water id buy a bottle of water.
sticky with resin. not wet with water or chlorphyll.

i agree with sega here. ive had plenty of sticky buds that were dry as shit. wet weed is shit. u get much less for ur money and it burns hella bad. thats just my opinion, i suppose ive had wet weed that was good but ill take dry any day

i think vaping moist bud works alot better than vaping dry bud but I still rather mine dry, it's quite annoying when its damp I think

just other day i got some and it wasn't like it had been wet purposely, just not dried enough.. you'd think ppl would do it right. I put it into my glass bottle and it's nice and dried now, prob better than when I got it
