Went to the hospital and had to take a piss test but to start I thought I had some problem with my appendix and I know they need a urine sample for that as I saw online before going in even though I was in extreme pain. When I went I told them what I take (not going to list my scripts) and they asked to try to piss in the cup. I took a CT scan and that was to see how my appendix was. I wasn't acting high, I was extremely pale, slickly looking, vomiting, pissing out shit (I was shitting piss out my ass lol no lie it felt like I was pissing out my ass), & it was very obvious I was in extreme pain. They never said it [the piss test] was for drugs but I read online that they will test you depending on your scripts and if you seem to be either over dosing or some shit that would say "I'm fucking sick due to drugs/WD from drugs" but like I said I had no reason to get these test. Now I got the paper work back they didn't say it was any drug test but I'm not sure if they didn't put that down they also I feel like they tried to call my doc because my doc for the ER that day near my leave was calling a doctor and they wouldn't tell me if it was mine or someone else's (I know they wouldn't say shit if it was some random ass persons doc) but still man I have P.P.D so I'm extremely paranoid at all times no matter what. Now the thing that makes me feel better is that they injected me full of morphine and anti-nausea med called zofran/bentyl for stomach cramps. Now I would think that if they tested me for drugs then I feel like they wouldn't have gave me morphine but at the same time I don't know and I'm freaking out. If I lose my scripts I'll just.. I won't say but I lose my scripts that's the last of me and if that's sad well whatever man it's my life my mind my body. I wish I wasn't so faint so I could have read the paper work but sadly I was too sick to fully read all the papers I signed. Now most papers I signed I didn't sign I just did this for example -R.T.E my name but not a signature I can't think of what that's called I've been up for days due to this just killing my mind! I can't risk losing my scripts, but that may be a loop hole to not lose my scripts or do something idk... Please someone help and answer my question for me if you can. I live in the US so don't get confused.

International standard for taking drug test is to tell the patient clearly that it is for drug test and then you should be supervised when giving the test.

Thank you very much :) they didn't even verbally say that I just am very paranoid about all that shit due to me being put into a mental ward when I was young/the fact I was too weak and sick to fully read the paper work.

They are usually also not allowed to inform your doctor without your agreement.

That's even more of a relief man thank you two for helping me chill the fuck out :) imma sleep some hit this post back and see if anyone else has anything good/informative for me to read.

They would most likely inform you of their intent if they were going to analyze your urine for recreational drugs. And, if they did test you and found something in your urine, in most instances they will ask for your signature on a "release of information" form, although, some Doctor's really don't give a shit and will call other providers with or without your consent. It's kind of a crapshoot.

I'm confused as to what is your question. Do you want to know what was on the papers you signed? You could go back there to their records department and ask for your medical report. They might charge you a fee but to set your mind at ease, you would see what's there.

ER docs have one job that is to save your life " in the now moment"
all they do is bandage you up, give you meds and tell you to follow up with your doc
i highly doubt they did anything but give you the care you needed and ill be hella surprised if they did call anyone

they ask a bunch of questions so they can narrow down the possibilities on wth is going on with you

IMO you're overthinking it way to much
