Wellbutrin withdrawl?

Did a search and didn't find too much specific info. on the kind of withdrawl symptoms some people have experienced from Wellbutrin/Zyban. I imagine PhreeX could help with this one. I was prescribed Wellbutrin SR 100mg bid for depression along with some Gabitril for bipolar. I have been taking the Wllbutrin for a bit over a month and it was working for the depression but I had to stop taking it about a week ago because I was getting severe headaches and hallucinations daily(eek!).
Well, the headaches and unwelcome hallucinations have gone away but something worse has come up: I have been plunged into some really really nasty depression, irritability, sleeplessness, feeling really panicky, lotsa social anxiety, lotsa that anxiety about going crazy and feeling super overstimulated- just like my skin is about to crawl off of my body. I feel like I am just barely maintaining; this is seriously messing with my ability to function- I don't even want to leave the house and when I do it's torture. This is the first time I have felt this bad since something like 4 years ago when I was hospitalized for some bad depression shit/suicide attempts, etc. I have stopped using meth but even when I was doing that not even a week-long binge comedown compares to this.
Any opinions on the possibilities of this being caused by coming off the Wellbutrin? or just some more of the standard bipolar nonsense fucking with me?

Did you taper off the Wellbutrin gradually or did you go off it abruptly?
You should never stop an antidepressant without tapering off gradually; withdrawal symptoms and depression are very common.
I suggest, either tough it out since you have for a week already, or go back on a low dose and taper off slowly.
If you are suffering from depression and anxiety, you should talk to your doctor about other medications. You definitely need to get treatment for these symptoms.
Btw, this thread should be in Health Q & A.

So what condition do these symtpoms describe? I only ask because this perfectly describes how I feel sometimes when I take adderall (prescribed).
I have been noticing that more often lately, I will be at a store or a restaurant buying something and whoever's helping me will say something like "Wow you must have had a bad day" or "I hope you feel better" when I literally haven't even said a word to them. Its not much better if I don't take adderall but the "skin crawling sensation" goes away (its not always present anyway). I'm starting to take the hint because so many people bring it to my attention. I even realize how bad I must look to others when they say something and I try to smile and feel happy, but I seriously cannot even crack a smile if I try to.
Just two weeks ago, I stayed at an Uncle's house for the weekend and he said I didn't look very happy (even though I don't consciously think "I must be depressed"). What's funny is that I haven't seen him in a year, and he pointed that out.
I haven't rolled in 13 months, have smoked weed only 2 or 3 times in the past three months, haven't snorted coke in 7 months, and haven't taken acid in 15 months. I still drink a pretty good bit though (one of the few times I do smile).
Any suggestions? Is depression a long term side effect of drugs use/abuse or was it probably there to begin with? I'm not asking for a diagnosis but I am almost to the point that I am going to talk to a doctor. I've been hesitant to say anything to my psychiatrist because I know that telling him everything would put an end to my monthly adderall script (and I really need it to even pass my classes). Maybe I shoud try a gp/family physician? Thanks.
