Bupropion is not recreational. I've read some articles on how it was abused in certain prisons as it does have mild stimulant effects. But attempting to get high on anti-depressants is a bad idea because 1) it won't work and 2)with bupropion, you run the risk of having a seizure. Even at therapeutic dosages bupropion has caused seizures.
To further persuade you against doing this, I will admit that during my lowest times, I did try to get a "high" out of bupropion. I had read somewhere that it was similar in structure to cathinones, and that mice responded to bupropion injections the same way they did to methamphetamine (just for the record, in the reading I did, it mentioned that mice metabolize the drug in a different way than humans, which is why they found it addicting). So anyway, I did try to abuse bupropion, and I'll tell you right now, it is not recreational. It's just dangerous and very uncomfortable.
