Misc Wellbutrin or Zyban Question!

so I found some Bupropian Hydrochloride pills...which I guess is wellbutrin or Zybam? What is the deal with these? Are they good for recreational use at all? What do you get out of it? And how can you take them....like can you snort them? Please let me know...
 
We aren't here to tell you whether or not something is recreational, but yes it's Wellbutrin. They have no recreational use, and I really hope you aren't taking someone else's medication in order to try to get high with it. Leave it for the person it was prescribed for, if they run out early it's going to be a very unpleasant experience for them.
 
No, it was my sisters that she got to help her quit smoking. But she decided to quit taking it. And I just came across it. Sorry..............forget I asked
 
Well, an OD moderator will have to handle that part of it. I also got the wellbutrin prescription for the same reason and I decided to stop taking it (made me absolutely batshit crazy, and I really don't need any help with that one.)

But yeah, not recreational...in general, recreational things seem to have a "controlled drug" sticker on the bottle somewhere...while buproprion should come with the warning "you need to use some other downer type of drug unless you want to go batshit crazy while taking this." Snorting it is just gonna hurt your nose...I've read people reporting speedy effects from it, but nothing worth writing home about, ya know?

Thanks p_c. Couldn't have said it better myself. Bupropion (Wellbutrin) is absolutely NOT recreational. Again, ZERO recreational value. Leave them alone. It is an NDRI anti-depressant. Slightly different than your traditional SSRI anti-d's such as zoloft and whatnot. I was prescribed it for a bit, and all it did was make my anxiety worse and I had to up my klonopin dose just to counteract the undesirable 'speedy' effects it seemed to give my body.

Bluelight isn't here to help you get high, or tell you how to abuse your sisters expired depression/anxiety medications. Leave them where they were. Also please read the BLUA and Other Drugs guidelines and posting standards. Any questions, feel free to PM any staff member.
