Wellbutrin - good or bad?

my psych recently added Wellbutrin SR 100mg to my prescription for ADD...
after searching thru Bluelight for information on it i have found everything from "it's a good effective antidepressant" to stories of mental anguish and psychotic episodes...
for those reasons i haven't started taking it...
so what's your opinion on Wellbutrin?? should i go ahead and take it or should i avoid it like an anthrax laced letter??
i don't want to end up a dull emotionless robot cuz of some antidepressant...

I will move this to Medical T&A but I will throw in my .02 first - Wellbutrin can work wonderfull as an anti-depressant - it did for me when NOTHING ELSE worked (ie SSRI's, TAD's, etc..) but when I found myself suddenly out, the mental hell was FAR, FAR, FAR worse then that of meth or anything...
So yeah, it could totally give you your life back - just don't stop cold turkey...
I no longer take it and have found opioids to be the PERFECT anti-depressant..
