Wellbutrin blocking drug effects?

I have been on wellbutrin for about a month. It has helped me alot with being active and not so tired all the time. But i noticed i cannot feel the effects of certain drugs now. First it was ritalin i get nothing can tell my heart beats faster and then it goes away, same with cocaine. I realize i get bearly any effects from these drugs and possibly opiates also.

Does the wellbutrin block the ability to get euphoria and effects of other drugs with anyone else?

Ive looked all over the internet and cant seem to find the answer.
 
same here buddy its not just you. i get hardly any rush from coke. i think its just stimulants tho. weed actually hits you harder and some ppl have panic attacks. I used to be a big opiate user, don't touch them at all anymore(2 years) because there the devil but I dont think it effects them. I figure wellbutrin making coke suck is a good thing bc now I don't do harder drugs.

Yes!! Wellbutrin is a DNRI, Ritalin is a DNRI. had the same thing happen. i did a shit ton of research. You can take wellbutrin with amphetamines, but with Ritalin, and cocaine, which works alot like ritalin, they cancel each other out.
 
Some may still dissagree, but iI have taken wellbutrin during a ritalin high and had it comedown almost immediatly. Some agrue that wellbutrin is supposed to eliminate crashes and smooth out the rough edges of ritalin. Not for me. I just cant feel ritalin on it, same goes for mixing adderall and ritalin, they cancel each other out as well.
 
Well as it is a dopamine norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor it will block the effects of amphetamines, cocaine and methylphenidate to various extents. Though i do know people prescribed both bupropion and dextroamphetamine and it does not seem to block many of the effects for them. I have been on and off wellbutrin now for years and i always try and stop taking it for a few days before i do any coke or take any amphetamines. Bupropion does not usually cause much if any withdrawals but going off it can cause your depression to return full force so i would not advise that at all.
