Hello there. ?. Ive been browsing this site for some time now. I love the harm reduction purpose behind it and the ability to learn new and safer ways to have fun.

My dog has been using opiates for around 3 years now. Started after he tore his meniscus and continued after shoulder surgery #1 and still going strong after shoulder surgery #2. Between surgery 1 and 2, he took a year break but since surgey 2 (4 months ago) he's been using daily. (Oxycodone, Hydrocodone, Morphine).

On top of his opiate use, he is an occasional Benzo user (mainly for medical reasons, but where is the fun in only sticking to that as long as he is smart about, eh?). So yeah, nothing too hardcore, but enough for him to enjoy. ?.

Once I figure out where to ask certain questions, I'll begin asking immediately so my dog can stay safe and be happy. For example: My dog just learned CWE. Wish he knew earlier. But 4 months of APAP (lower than 4g) daily shouldn't have done any damage to his liver, right?

Hope to hear from you all soon and excited to be here!

be careful using benzos on top of opiates. if you have a tolerance to both it is not as dangerous but it is still a major cause of overdoses around the world. throw in some alcohol and it happens even easier.

as far as the APAP goes, im not exactly sure but I doubt youre going to have any real damage from what you were using. but dont quote me on that though

you dont have to say your dog is using it either

Hi and welcome to BL.
You don´t need to say that your dog has done this or that. Swim is not necessary/allowed in BL.
I am too in favor of harm reduction. In regards to your recreational use, just remember that we all started like that one day, so be careful.
Best of luck! :)

I guess I should have checked my messages before posting, huh? Thank you, good to know and I apologize for the error!
