Misc Welbutrin causing Insomnia?

Well to start, I was on 150Mg of welbutrin in the morning at about 9, then another 150 at 2. Everything was fine, i stopped taking the meds though. After a few months I went to the mental hospital and got prescribed welbutrin again....but this time its one dose and at a small dose. 75mg in the morning. My question is I wasn't experiencing insomnia when I was taking 300mg/day but I experience it now when i only take 75mg/day? Seems a bit weird >_< anyways any ideas?

it's probably your body re-adjusting to the meds if it continues let your doctor know, when i started taking them i had insomnia for awhile too.

Not weird at all; it is a stimulant type of drug as is an SNDRI.

Ask your doctor for help with this side effect of the medication.

Better yet, first try regular exercise + eliminating caffeine/nicotine intake if you are using them at all + promoting good sleep hygiene first.

If none of these help, then go to the doctor and report this as a side effect.
