Weird tolerance problems with multiple substances.

I believe my tolerance to have been negatively affected by my 1 year subutex treatment. Before I get into that I will give some background.

I was/still am a polyuser. Mostly opiate, benzos, and coke. Occasionally d-amp.

In college I used adderall to study. First time taking it being a dumbass I neck 90mg 30min before my first Calc 3 exam. Needless to say I was fucking zooted lol. Also, in college I had a 2mg kpin scipt, which i used for sleep but also abused too. Then my bartard phase I was barred tf out almost every days for weeks and weeks. Miraculously I did not experience any withdrawals.

Next was the opiate addiction. I was doing real H in college but never truly dependent. However, when I moved back home the only thing available are dirty 30s. I did probably a 5 year run on them. Picking of 25 pills 2 or 3 times a week. Finally said enough was enough and on on subutex. I hated every minute of it. It turned me into an emiontless shell of a human being. I had no drive to do anything. I could even really feel joy or happiness unless it was something way over the top. Well, after a year of the subs I jumped off and immediately my mood went back to normalish.

Now heres where the tolerance thing comes into play. Before I jumped 30mg d amp had me feeling great. Now literally nothing. My weed tolerance is also absurd I've smoked everyday since highschool. yet when I jumped off the subs I can chief 3 blunts and feeling nothing. After my jump I stayed away from the 30s for a loong time(just about a year.) Yet when I decided to chip a bit suddenly my tolerance is fucked. Same thing has happened with benzos for me.

Does anyone have any ideas on what this could be?

Honestly it sounds as you say, a tolerance has been met, even if there is not a vast physical withdrawal per say..

This could be from not having total abstinence from all substances, this could indicate more dependency due to being totally raw and having a better idea if dependence is present.

When I fuck about with multiple things simultaneously and then go absistent, even in the absence of physical symptoms I notice plenty of mental symptoms, whether it be cravings or a lack of monamines due to receptors being downregulated..

^ I.e the very fact is tolerance creates more receptors in place of endogenous chemicals or monamines etc (endorphins/opioids, anandamide/Cannabanioids, dopamine/stims or even other drugs..

Even if using things 3x a week with a day off, or very low half life drugs only at a few hours of the day for example I notice this when pushing things too far and stepping back.

In this total abstinence I notice much lower mood, discomfort, and emptiness.

Agmatine, Magnesium Threonate help my tolerance, same with sleep, exercise and diet.

But total time off is best. Your working both with the half life of the drug (4 half life’s for removal) for the drug to no longer be in system and influencing your neurons THEN still needing abstinence time for the receptors to return to “normal” (homoestatsis) a process not understood well, and anecdotally it seems some indivudals “normal” changes and it can become slower to recover from tolerance and dependence.

Idk, my speculation and anecdote. I cannot ascertain this as absolute truth but from my skimming of pharmacology, bro science and experience.

This is what happens to everyone that uses the "top 5" schedule 2, 3, 4, and 5 drugs and a full plate of fentanyl.

It is called the "River of Deceit" and the only direction it goes is down. You can remove your skin and swim to shore and grow a beautiful shelf for all to see. Or you bite you pride and buy sometime, a head full of lies awaits tied to your waist. Either way the work that needs to be done is not drug reduction and it self inflation, investment, and mirror worth.

Or the River of Deceit flows down, the only direction we know in down. The pain is self-chosen at least I believe it to be.
