Misc Weird side effect from phenibut?

Everytime i take Phenibut then go to sleep I have sleep paralysis which i never get when im not on phenibut. Its really an interesting experience.. i did some research and seems what im experiencing is called Astral Catelepsy. My spirt leaves my body.. if i try to fight it I get really scared and freeze.. if i dont fight it i will float to other rooms and watch people.. etc. I'm wondering if this is just a common side effect from Phenibut or if phenibut is in fact allowing other areas of my brain to be active? For reference I don't experience it unless i
consume 1.5g .. 3 of the 500mg capsules. I don't get any beneficial effects from just 1g .. 1.5g is perfect..
reduces anxiety, more social etc but once i try to go to sleep its a whole nother story. Please i'd like some insight from others who use this. I've used many other sedatives/downers/anti-anxiety without this effect... I wonder if this symptom means its doing something harmful to my brain? especially if its almost unheard of...

This only happened to me once. It was the first time on it and I think I took about 4g. It was a weird sensation as I kept getting into these scenarios that felt very real that I was in different areas of my house and experiencing odd and bizarre things. This never happened to me again though except another time I was on a good dose of GHB, but again, only the first time.

Other drugs that act on the GABAergic systems like the "Z-drugs" and benzodiazepines can sometimes induce hallucinations in people who are sensitive.

If it's really that disconcerting I suggest you stop taking it. I don't think that phenibut in reasonable doses will cause brain damage of any sort.
