Sometimes, I cant really remember a specific time when I was tripping, but a happening will recur within moment of each other. For example, I look at the sky and a crow is sitting on a branch in a tree and takes off, flying in a certain direction. I look back and the exact same thing happens, the bird sitting in the same place, taking off and flying in the exact same direction. Or a person will walk by, and moments latter they walk by in the exact same direction again.
A couple weekends ago, I wasnt tripping but a little blazed, me and some friends were ontop of a little plateau overlooking a canyon, with the lights of residential areas rolling across the hills into the distance. Because of this, we couldnt see the stars very well, but we all noticed a particularly bright light hanging over the horizon. We continued in our stuporous conversation for a time, then to look back and see it was no longer there. We didnt think much of it at that moment, but we did see a solid light, much like an airplane moving through the sky to our left, which we didnt think much of at the moment either. However, we looked back to the sky and there was soon another bright light in the sky over the horizon in the exact same place. We watch it for a moment and it floats a little up in the sky to the left. It faded to a dimmer color and brilliance, and hung motionless. We didnt think much of that either, but we did connect that the "airplane" flying to our left was one of these objects. We concluded that they were airplanes heading directly at us so as to make the light seem brighter and more coherent, but as they gradually turned their lights faded. We soon looked back to that point in the sky, and the hanging light to the left that had appeared very distant and stationary was now moving towards us, much like the first object. We then noticed there was another bright light in the sky to replace the one that had started moving. Things started to get a little strange. We watched that bright light and it faded, moving to the position that the last one had started moving from, and faded. We were then were curious as to what was happening and where all those lights were coming from, disagreeing among ourselves which lights were which, what they were, and if it was the same one. We then watched, intently, that point in the sky for a couple minutes, determined to see where the light was coming from, and from the darkness of the horizon one of those bright lights suddenly appeared, as we were watching, from no other radiant object, like a light in the sky being turned on. This all caused us to let out some sort of gasp of astonishment. We then watched this light, and it faded, moved to the position of the former ones, faded, and started moving towards us. There were then about six or so of these "airplanes" moving paralell to our position, on both the left or right, seemingly at equal angles from this point of origination, that all had started as these bright lights in the sky. We continued watching that point in the sky, but none other lights appeared. One of my friends explained it as airplanes taking off from the same airport, and turning on their lights once they were in the air, and then diverging from their direction towards us, making the lights appear to be bright and then fade. I was apprehensive though, as airplanes usually have their lights on constantly, even from when they tax on the runway. Everyone else seemed to dismiss it or forget soon after it happened, and we havent talked about it since.
