My old computer would lock up and/or break down during bad trips. It was quite uncanny.

It's a shame really, because science could progress so much faster if it would allow itself to accept that which is invisible or unexplainable first, before trying to make sense of it... but that's pretty much the definition of faith, which seems to be precluded from science. We always seem to feel that we have to make sense of something first, before we can accept it, when sometimes the sense-making exists INSIDE the acceptance.

This made me think of Hofmann, and what we might have missed out on, if he hadn't just accepted his "peculiar presentiment"

Yea, the first half of pihkal is one of the best reads ive seen, very good indeed.

Hows this for weird shit, a month or so ago i was tripping, and right at the peak while i was sitting here talking to people, right outside my window in the backyard the brightest light flashed and damn near the loudest thing ive ever heard, i thought it was a bomb, i thought my backyard had blown up, literally. Turns out it was lightening of some form, and it was so close and so strong, it turned my screen purple from the EM field, i had to hit degauss to correct it.

Needless to say, a calm person realizes this was lightening

I however, knew the truth, the aliens had landed with a fiery and loud 'hello, this is our planet now', and i grabbed the key to the gun safe (yes i try to hide it or throw it somewhere i wont bother looking for it, didnt work this time), so i grab my .25 handgun and go searching for the aliens, peeking around each corner, they HAD to be in the house by now so i turned all the lights off and slowly cleared each room, eventually i had the house secure so i started searching the backyard, scanning the treeline for eyes, looking up in the trees waiting for one of them to land on me right when i looked up, systematically scanning the roof, they were hiding! they were running to the side of the roof i couldnt see, every time i moved!

Its lucky there was no corn in the field next to me or i would have gone on a rampage through it like in Signs.

During my first acid trip, my buddy and I were discussing whether or not we could keep it together if we were forced into a social interaction. I was on three good gels and I decided I could only handel it if it was brief and I knew it was comming. My buddy was saying that if someone just "fell out of the sky" and he had to interact with them there was no way ... he said he'd just freak out and run away. Right when he said that, my landlord, a 60 year old woman, knocked on the door. This is not a place where you can choose not to answer the door either ... she had just seen us walk in and could see us inside since there's a huge window on the door and it's a pretty small apartment.

Anyway, somehow I made it through ... we talked about all kinds of stuff although I got pretty confused at points. I was constantly questioning myself when I spoke, "is this what a normal person would say." Phew, close call. My buddy didn't say a word the whole time, he just sat at my computer emailing himself and typing about how he didn't have any idea how I was keeping it together. I almost busted out laughing a few times just looking at him. Synchronicity?

Okay so the first time i tripped on acid i used my bowl, after finishing the bowl i was in a great place so i put the bowl away, inside a crayon box.

Fastforward a month or two, to the second time i trip on acid.

I start to peak so i go for the crayon box : D

and i find my bowl, that had been missing for months

So what the fuck? noone touched that crayon box for two months?

I cannot even describe how insane that was

Crazy shit alwalys happens on psychedelic drugs, like ill trty to put a song on but my friend puts on the exact same song before i do, and about to ask for a ciggarette when someone has it for me.

the weirdest thing that has ever happened to me was actually my last 2 salvia experiences, the first ime i was whisked away to a dark world. i walked through it and deystroyd everything in my path by pure accident, then last week i tripped on it again and the world i entered was exactly the same as i had left it....... there was such a bad vibe and i felt soooo guilty that i dont think im going to do it again for some time. i've had numerous mushroom trips but ive never had anything strange happen in them.

The only time I have seen shooting stars is on acid, ketamine(very visual for some reason) and MDA. I never see them unless im on psych's.

EVERY time that I have tripped on DXM, I have gotten a "wrong number" call on my cell phone. and EVERY time, its a black person's voice.

I have never figured out if these were real people calling or just a hallucination.

I think the first time, it really happened, and then every time after I get reminded of the first time and I imagine my phone ringing and I talk to noone.

a lot of wierd, strange, occurences always happen to me while tripping or stoned.

i believe that half of it is due to the fact that psychedelics heighten the senses, and you start to notice strange things and patterns that you wouldn't see sober. i do believe, however, that the other half of the time its def some unexplainable, crazy shit.

Its amazing with computers and other electronics the last time i was on shrooms my computer (which is brand new) only occasionally would the letters work on the keyboard, i was frantically pressing them one minute then every now and then they would work. Also the only time ive ever seen shootings stars is also under the influence of drugs either E or being really stoned

Yeah its funny about computers, I find sometimes when im tripping balls and just surfing the net webpages with answers that ive been loooking for i guess universally and in my life have just popped up and ive understood the meaning. Also when im reading the pdf version of be here now i can scroll down and sometimes it will jump to the pages that are relevant to what im experienceing in the trip, i always feel super powerfull when im on the computer like im god sitting on the universal super mind computer its awsome:D

Once on 2C-I + 2C-C the letters on the screen and my keyboard turned into ancient Egyptian-looking hieroglyphs. I could type and read fine until I thought about it, and then it all looked like total gibberish. it stayed that way for the entire trip, too, unchanging. Obviously it was just my visuals and not real, but as long as we're talking about computers...
