@amy94: As for what did "go get it" mean. If you want to hang out with a black man (or an alty girl, or a bro, or ANYONE.) Go and approach them. Just walk up and say "Hi!" I'm being legit. My partner and I do that all the time, and end up meeting and hanging out with a lot of really cool people, cause when we see someone we think looks cool, we go up to them and are just like "Hey what's up! What are you listening to?/Is that a textbook on Linear algebra?/Wanna smoke some weed with us?/etc"
It works surprisingly well. So next time you see a black dude you find appealing, just go say up and start talking.
