Opioids Weird nod on hydrocodone?

I noticed that when I'm on hydrocodone, and I nod out, I wake up a few minutes later making this weird clicking sound with my tongue. It's fast, like I'm unconsciously tapping my tongue on my teeth, or my tongue is vibrating on the roof of my mouth. It's not a dosage problem, it happens with a normal/medium dose about 17 mg. Anybody else experience this? Is it bad? Thanks!
P? My stomach also makes strange, loud gurgling noises and it sometimes feels like I'm clenching my abs? It's not that bad, just wondering if it's normal.
 
WTF!

In august i did some opium t with my opiate naive friend & he was nodding out making some bizzare sounds. Scared me at first that he might be almost vomiting. It was a little like a tongue clicking.

I dunno dude, ask Dr. House.
 
Doesn't sound like a dangerous thing but I've never heard of it before. Only similar experience I've had was one time i nodded out for a little and woke up making noises like that thing from The Grudge lol.
 
The stomach clenching thing is probably the opiate receptors binding in you gut. Not sure about the tongue clicking thing though...
 
Hmmm, Ive nodded out on hydro, depending on how much I take or what I mix it with. And sometimes my stomach makes sounds and will clench, but I just figure its because I never before I take them, and then after Im not even hungry, because I cant tell if its in my head that I should be hungry from not eating, or if Im actually hungry or not hungry. But Ive never made any sounds, usually when I nod off my mouth just opens for some reason, no matter how my head lands, lol.

Idk if its bad or not, or it could be a natural thing your body does while on them.
 
This is strange to me... I have a lot of experience with hydro, taking up to as much as 120mg (often combined with alcohol) at once and i have never nodded. As for the tongue clicking i have met someone who did the same thing while in a k-hole
 
Was that question necessary as you already know the answer? :P

I've never heard of this happening before (the tongue clicking), but ya, opioids (hydrocodone isn't an opiate, go look it up : P (just a nerd being technical)) do cause A LOT of things to happen as far as your GI tract goes.
 
mistresspoppy, I know exactly what you mean with both of those things. I used to do this ALL THE TIME, every nod I had on poppy pods.

It really freaked me out as sometimes I thought I had just had a seizure and was waking up from it, hence the involuntary tongue movement (I wouldn't worry about this though - I have bad paranoia about the slightest thing causing seizures since I almost died from a couple due to drug use).
The stomach clenching was almost pleasurable in a way so didn't get to me, but the teeth clicking....it's hard to describe, it was like my tongue was rolling back a bit and "clicking" and "tapping" the roof of my mouth, almost creating a kinda suction, really fast.
I found I could actually induce it simply by moving my tongue back in a certain way.

It's kinda comforting to see somebody else had the same thing, though.
