Weird munchies-taste-effect under influence of MXE

Hey, I wanted to share with you that I've just noticed what I'm often doing on MXE. I wasn't aware of that before: while under influence of MXE, I tend to taste various things just to feel their taste. It's very hard to resist. It's unlike weed, I'm not eating for my stomach but rather for my tongue. Once I'm in kitchen I feel like a mad man tasting everything around. This doesn't always happen, but most of the time... Yep.

Is there anyone else getting such effects or doing this stuff? My taste sense isn't enhanced while methoxied, but rather it's a will to experience taste.

Nahh, I haven't done that or heard of anything like that. I guess it's just one of those personal habits.

I get a very enhanced sense of taste & smell, eating is such a joy on MXE.

I always prepare myself a big plate of tasty snacky stuff I can munch on while under the influence - cold spicy meats, strong cheese, rocket salad, pickles, olives - that kinda stuff. And a nice glass of red wine to wash it down.

^ lol damn man this is why I gotta travel. cold spicy meats, strong cheese, and rocket salad are 3 things I have never experienced but would love to.

anyway, tasting isnt that different for me on mxe, more so, while under it, i tend to taste cocktails like a list of separate ingredients, which isnt that much fun, but afterwards i do get hungry, and things do feel good when eaten... its actually quite close to the munchies.. but like i said, this effect is different from the one you describe.

Well rocket salad is a salad with rocket leaves in it Maybe you call it something different, it's usually called rucola in the rest of Europe or aragula in the US

I totally know what you mean. Eating on MXE is super weird to me. Nothing tastes right - it's all somehow idk - sandpaper-y? Or the texture is just off. It's not really my favorite side effect from it - but I don't mind it. Smoking give me a similar effect as eating. I'm glad to know someone else has this experience too!
