Hi

I am a recreational user of mdma.. I did mdma last 2008 for two months.. Two to three pills every weekend. I stopped and started to use again last sept until dec every three weeks. I usually take 3 pills max every session.. I had an overdose on dec 1 took 6 pills that night. The next day I drank alcohol probably took 6 or 7 shots of vodka. The night on dec 2 I could not sleep. I had twitching the whole day up to monday night. I was rushed to the hospital and was given a sleeping pill. The twitching went away after a few days and I had symptoms of withdrawal for two weeks. I got better but on dec 22.. I attended a xmas party drank shots and was not aware that the chaser had drugs in it.. The alcohol did not hit me at all.. Its now february of this year but I still have the floating sensations.. Can somebody please help me.. Is this still the effect of mdma?

It's two months later, go to a doctor mate...

We don't have enough information. How do you know the shots had drugs in it?

It's likely more to do with your constant worrying about it, I don't even know what sort of diagnosis "floating sensations" is.

I went to emergency rooms last month and dec but none of the doctors could figure out what it was. I found out that the chaser had a drug in it because the alcohol did not hit me and my other friend. The floating sensation that I feel is more of being on a boat type of sensation. I have a neurologist appt in may and I will go to a doctor on friday. But the thing is could this still be related to chemical imbalance? I have read tons of posts about people having issues months after mdma.

The neurologist is the only person that will be able to help you. Most doctors are fucking morons that try to get you out the door as fast as they can. And will give you shit advice like, 'try to be more calm' fucking scums...
Anyways let us know what happens with the neurologist.

hope it all works out for you op. look after yourself in the meantime, stay positive and try not to stress. hopefully time will heal. please do report back to let us know how your doing.

all the best :)

This is the only symptom that doesn't go away. The zaps aren't as bad. The problem too is I have requested tests to be done in the emergency rooms but since my blood tests came normal the doctors did not seem to be worried about my case. At the moment I'm exercising everyday taking multivitamins, vitamin d, magnesium once a day, omega 3 three times a day and vitamin c twice a day. One of the doctors checked my ears and said I have a little bit of fluid on my left inner ear and said that it should go away. Its already February and I still have these floating sensations. Feeling like I'm falling on a cliff or boat. Its hard specially if the attack is in the morning when you are trying to work..

So what you are saying is you completely guessed that the alcohol had drugs in.

My only real advice, keep healthy and most importantly, I stress this part, it is fuckign vital... Don't touch MDMA again.

I admit struttergear.. I completely guessed that the chaser had drugs in it. and not only did the alcohol did not hit us... the next day the floating sensations came back worse than when I had the od.. I have decided to take Friday off and go to a doctor again... The toughest part is not knowing what this could be which is putting an additional stress on me. I've always been paranoid about my health.. There are days that it's really bad and there are days when I can handle it.. I just want to eliminate everything that it could possibly be like get brain scans, mri etc.. I will try to relax for now and keep doin what I'm doing exercise, proper diet, and lots of sleep. And no.. I will not do any other drugs ever again this is definitely a life lesson.. I guess it just takes time before I go back to normal...

Hi guys, I just spoke to one of my friends who was also at the party and suddenly has not been hanging out with the group. She said that after drinking one of the chasers that had drugs in it, she hasnt stopped puking up to now. Her blood tests show negative of everything.. I am now worried that what I have ingested had a different drug that is as powerful as what she took... Could this push back my recovery??

^ Hey man, just got your PM, I didn't realize that was you who sent it, I remember reading your posts before..

That's a tough call man, if you don't know what was in the "chaser" than your symptoms could be completely normal or rather worrying.. If her system tested clean though it's likely that it was a Research Chemical, which can have some rather worrying side effects. Time heals all wounds though, and an ample break from drugs will get you back to feeling normal.

Stop worrying though, that's always the MAIN problem in these kind of comedowns... people really make things worse on themselves with all the worrying and trying to figure out what happened... trust me, I went there harder than most people ever will. Hell, it led me to getting a position on a drug website!

Things correct themselves overtime, I have learned. These changes aren't permanent, and your brain will adapt to them the way it adapts to every other change in your life :)

Don't worry about what happened, it's done and there's no changing it now.. worry about the future, and make it better for yourself. :)

well said folley,

Just try and keep positive and move forward never backward, if the brain and body thinks it can recover it will

im Sorry man but someone who used to be an AVID AVID AVID mdma user until about a year ago, In todays world of pills, you got something bad (pipes or so) and you had a bad bad comedown. Dude I used to think i somehow got aids from a comedown from kissing a girl who (in my psycho head) he had maybe cut away her jaw from rolling and so was I and we exchanged blood, and was like thinking i had aids and had a panic attack for fuck sake TRUE STORY too LOL :)=D

wow? how long did you have the panic attack for? I was able to drag myself to go to the gym even if i had attacks today... I am not even sure if these are brain zaps anymore or somethin else.. this feeling of this in a boat where i am about to fall off is the most annoying feeling and it randomly attacks.. Sometimes It's not as bad but sometimes I can handle it.. Tomorrow I am going to a doctor to get some tests done... Crossing my fingers... Hoping that it is somethin like ear infection...

Yes exactly!! That's exactly how I feel.. atm I am fine but this feeling of unsteadiness is driving me insane!! All the other symptoms are gone except for this one.. I usually am able to fight it off but sometimes the feelings are horrific

All about serotonin

Hi Folley i have sent you an email... I have questions regarding serotonin..
