Heyhey,
Been lurking Bluelight for over 300 years by now guess today's the day - first post.
Anyways, my usual opiate of choice for the past couple of years has been IV Oxycodone (OC80's), which is pretty much all that's available when it comes to opiates stronger that codeine, where I'm currently living.
My usual connect offered me some 200mg MS Contin (Contalgen) tabs which i had never tried before, so naturally was quite curious and excited to try them.
my ROA for the past year has been intravenous (IV), following all the proper harm reduction techniques and methods when it comes to injecting drugs,
never had any adverse effects, infections etc. so far.
I proceeded to crush the 200mg Contalgen pill, into a very fine powder,
Followed by mixing/stirring with some sterile water, I drew the liquid up with a micron wheel filter.
Immediatley after shooting the about half of the shot, I got a slight tingling headache, then the skin of my whole upper body from the waist up to my face/neck became extremely red like a bright red tomato and was hot to the touch, my heart rate also went up, I could feel my heart pounding through my chest, -so much that for a moment, I was convinced for a moment it had to have been laced with an amphetamine or somethingt. My heart felt the same way as when Ive over amped on amphetamines in the past.
For a moment I thought to myseld "how am I going to get to the hospital" and if I would make it,
that's how serious it felt in the moment, these adverse effects lasted for about 15-20 minutes, until it subsided, after which I felt totally fine, and was enjoying the effects of Contalgin.
Does anyone have any idea what could have caused this or if anyone has had anything similar happen?
could it be a histamine response possibly? or effects from injecting pill binder?
Also a small amount of the crushed pill/binder made its way into the syringe and eventually into my bloodstream. Not sure if this played a role in my reaction?
Im quite positive a little bit of the crushed pill powder/filler made it into my bloodstream, not sure if that played a role, Ive probaly shot up pill binder before.
I tried another shot later, this time I heated the liquid in a cooker with a lighter until the liquid became clear, followed by filtering via micron wheel filter, after being advised doing so by the connect whom I acquired the Contalgin pills from. This time I had no issues or adverse effects, after injecting.
