I have bad ADD and was prescribed adderall xr 25mg a year or so ago. I also have high blood pressure and take propranolol (beta-blocker) and lisinopril (ace-inhibiter). Over time he has increased my dosage to taking the adderall twice a day. Now I noticed when he did this, my extremities started to feel cold. My hands, feet, and even nose would get cold. I know about raynauds sensation, but I dont really get that discoloredness. Just coldness. Now this is the weird part. While my extremities are cold, my chest/neck/face/arms get hot and turn reddish. No blotchiness, just red heat. I dont know much about circulation, but I think its somehow making me have low circulation in my extremities and then high circulation on face/arms/neck/chest, which doesn't really make any sense to me. My doctor who does my blood pressure medication reccommended I take 'adderall vacations' (I assume she said that to lower my blood pressure for a while, this was before I started having these skin symptoms). Whenever I do these 'vacations' then start my adderall again, I get those symptoms. I should probably also mention I have very sensitive skin, and am just highly sensitive (esp. towards medications) in general. And I also take anti-depressants. Anyone know whats going on? :O Should I be taking a lower dose?
