weird ?2cb HCI? powder, what is wrong with it?

Hi BL,

I?m a very experienced 2cb user. I?ve been taking the substance in various forms for over two years fairly regularly (3 times a month).

I?m used to doses up to 40mg. I?ve had it as pills but I prefer to buy the HCI powder.

Just got a new batch, new vendor, new product, 500mg.

I measured 100mg on a scale then decided that into four to get a 25mg dose. But the scale said it was more like 30mg. My scales are cheap and inaccurate though.

I put the powder in a shot of neat whisky ( I usually put it in water) and then drank it on an empty stomach.

I then had a pretty unexpected experience. It wasn?t bad just not like 2cb I?m used to. It wasn?t strong but hallucinations started, but I didn?t get the usual chills or energetic feelings.

The visuals seemed different too, patterns seemed more rounded, more organic. And o had no sense of euphoria. There was mild dismorphia happening, my hands looked small etc. It just didn?t feel like 2cb to me.

Didn?t feel good, so I ate, which usually brings the trip down, then took some Xanax and that kills the trip. Then I went to bed. No harm done but I now have a lot more of this stuff and don?t want a simile experience.

Anyone had a bad batch of 2cb powder? I?m in UK btw.

Other background is that I had taken viagra the day before. Not sure that can effect it so long after. Also I used an anti histamine Basel spray one hour before.

Either my 500mg of 2cb is bad product or it somehow mixed with something.

Any ideas people?

Unfortunately it's impossible to help you much except for us to hypothesize and speculate which is why Bluelight doesn't allow ID'ing. I doubt the viagra or anti-histamine had much of an effect. I recommend getting a few different reagent test kits so that in the future you can narrow things down and don't have to take the risk of eating a mystery substance.

Yeah, BL doesn't permit "what did I take" questions. That isn't explicitly what you're asking (could have just been an idiosyncratic reaction - most of us have had those,) but you and the rest of us probably suspect what you purchased was misrepresented.

If you don't send a sample to Energy Control, you may want to at least purchase some reagents with which to test your drugs. They're inexpensive and not terribly hard to use. Would you like some info on how to find, store, and use them? It's good practice for reasons just like this one. Vendor mixups are common - next time, good forbid, it could be an NBOME
