Maybe not needed but wanted to start a weight thread. Gain, loss, where you are, where you want to be, etc, etc.?

Just weighed in at 181, baby!!! Weighed 197 not many weeks ago! 5'11, little to no muscle for reference. Hoping to get down to 170 or less. Damn antipsychotic made me put on weight. Doesn't help that I'm a fatass that doesn't exercise except for walking.

Any other takers?
 
Psych meds are notorious for putting on weight. At one time in my life I weighed in at 351 pounds, My pants were size 50 waist, and my wardrobe color was black. All because of psych meds except maybe the color of my wardrobe. I was miserable
It all came to head when I od’d, committed by my wife, discharged 15 days later. Meds were updated another chance. Got shit together a new beginning, started walking and felt better. Lost 150 pounds, weight nowadays steady 209 pounds.

Anything is possible
 
im workin on gainin some weight. got a 100lb olympic iron set with dumbells and barbell. been messin around a little. slow and easy....

i walk a good bit but not much resistance.

my weight jumped 10lbs from one day to the next. hydrated and fed i guess thats the way i do. no sickness to speak of. been that way since I think early 30s? hmmm imma have to think back and see if i can find what changed.

im about 170lbs today. i would like to gain at least/most (ideally) 10lbs.

i noticed that if i eat weed i keep an appetite. whatever works, no?

oh yeah the weight set its inda cona and my ass is laying on a yoga mat chillin atm. pretty comfy. 😉 why bother something that works? jk
gotta have resistance in all growth imo anyway.

be careful and if exercising please have someone with you if possible. helps in many ways ime

lets see what i weigh tomorrow. imma shoot for 180 or 175.

gotta get up to eat, though, aint feelin it and stomaches growlin hell I just ate wtf

I'm 68kg and 178cm tall at the moment, but I'd like to bulk up to perhaps 75kg. I have a BMI of 21.5 (which is pretty much exactly normal). I am lean and athletic in terms of my body. I really need to be more consistent about eating though.
 
In the space of 2 weeks while on holiday and taking pregablin I put 1.5 stones on
Pregablin must block signals from your stomach to your brain because I was able to eat an obscene amount of food at a single sitting and then order room service

21 lbs in 14 days, that is 11/2 pounds a day. Are youbalso severely constipated also?

Not trying to be funny, That is insane. What are you eating, like 7,000-8,000 calories a day?
 
Maybe got my calculations exaggerated slightly
I actually lost 2 stone in 6 months by suddenly losing my appetite 🤧
And honestly felt I put the whole lot back on during my hols
 
Im about 205 or 210 now. I was 225lbs when i was fat as fuck in the psych ward then when i got off the meds i dropped down to 170lbs. Then with the help of TRT and working out like a motherfucker i got to my current weight

It is incredible how pregablin affects your appetite
I was able to have a full English/Scottish/Thai breakfast ,lunch ,3 course meal around 6pm including every pudding avaliable at self service counter then after a few cocktails in Patong 1 big mac meal plus a quarter pounder with cheese
My mother was mortified
Not every night ,I must have done a ,ot of walking that day

it makes me hungry af mor than weed. insatiable.

think ive gained a couple pounds over the last week or so. be nice but too much and its just more baggage to lug around.

Weird lyrica never made me hungry really. Granted i already take morphine and smoke alot of weed and both give you the munchies bad. I also take testosterone which also really increases appetite as well. But i wasent on test when i took lyrica. Im currently on gabapentin and dont find that to effect my appetite either way. Lyrica is better then gabapentin imo. Im going to get switched from gaba to lyrica soon

Why do you take lyrica may i ask?

As for myself just got on a scale and ive dropped about 5lbs in the last month or 2. Thats good cause im trying to lose the bit of flab i have on my gut that im probably oversensitive about. I dont really know how i dropped that much weight as im still drinking dr.pepper and pepsi. However i have been eating less carbs so maybe its that

I took lyriica or the generic version as its a 3rd of the price in Thailand and you can get it very easily otc gabapentin as well
I took my last benzo at the airport before we left so it was to stop wd ,which it was amazing at doing ,mixing that and kratom has got to be right up there with the best duel drug combis
Felt on top of the world for 2 weeks and thought I was cured from benzo habit,how wrong I was ,the next 3 months were a living hell
No taper ,I also quit kratom after 18 years at same time
I'm clean now for 4 months apart from copius amount of drink ,which is why they wouldn't offer me a taper ,cunts

Yeh pregabs are alot stronger especially if you haven't had in a while ,it's a drunk sort of feel ,but after the first day you get used to it.
I thought gabapentin was fairly weak and only got a buzz off it the first night I took it
