Hi All, I have read so many threads in this awesome forum for the last few months-thank you so much, I have gotten a lot of helpful info. I don't want to say too much about myself, but am 29 years old, 5'8", and about 120-125lbs. I am on:
Hydromorphone
narco
40 mg predizone
gabypentin
baclofen
klonopin
librax
clonodine

I have a painful autoimmune disorder, so they put me on vicoden, and then suboxon (which I did not like and didn't get high off of at all) and then when I was in the hospital they put me on high dosages of hydromorphone and narco since the suboxone was still in my system and blocking the effects. I left the hospital with no warning that it was a strong opiode (sorry for my spelling! I know it is ALL wrong!) but they gave me 90 pills to take as needed every 2 hours and narco 10/325 to take every 4-6 hours.

So I did, and was addicted within two weeks.

So i tried to get this from my regular doctors and no one would prescribe it, so I went to a pain specialist and he has been tapering me. Though the taper has not worked bc I have been running out too soon and getting more vicodin from friends.

Anyway, I am leading a big, important event this weekend and was super freaked out I was going to go through withdrawals during it, and a friend gave me 30 Tapentadol. I have been taking hydromorphone and narco tonight-when should I "try" this new drug for the first time? Tomorrow morning?

Will I still feel withdrawals if I run out of hydromorphone and narco but take Tapentadol?

Will Tapentadol show up seperetly in my pain dr's drug screen, or will it just register as an optiate?

Sorry for being just a newbie, I really need the help though! I finally feel normal on painkillers-like I can function again, but I am going to be flagged soon by the police if I keep trying to get scripts.

I am also really nervous about trying new drugs because I am on so much-do any of the drugs I am on above interfere with optiods? Like, is my pain dr tricking me into anything with the baclofen and gabypentin?

Should I be careful with anything?

Thanks for any feedback! I really, truly appreciate any and all feedback and will check back in often to see if anyone can help. Thank you!
I will call myself Emily:)
