I thought I'd contribute... 1600x1200, originally sized at a much higher resolution, its reduced to 1/5 of its original size.

im going to make this bi-weekly i think, as more entries are needed to get it to take off. ive still gotta find a scanner big enough.... lol.

That's not the point. Contest guidelines aside, at 1600x1200 and 1611.03KB, your entry unnecessarily stretches the page and slows down page loading times for those on slower connections. Back to contest guidelines - these are created for a reason. Those who adamantly refuse to follow said guidelines should not participate.
 
^WORD. my comp took 5 mins to load that photo, and i dont think its composition meets the guidlines of "manipulated photos" anyway..

ok, for a plethora of reasons, this is gonna run till monday night.

mostly, i have to work constantly and dont have time to post MY photo--also there arent enough entries yet. :(

...i guess that is kind of confusing. an unedited PHOTO of YOUR ORIGINAL ARTWORK is OK. a PHOTO you took of something other than an original creation of your own is invalid.

whoever posted that eye--nope. that goes in the photo contest, not this one.
 
i just tried taking photos of my charcoal drawing and every single one is blurry & shitty because i lost my tripod. i promise to contribute when i get my scanner working!
 
^^ TAKE the photo of your drawing out in the BRIGHT sunlight with NO flash, and see how it comes out. thats what i did. on my entry

Or try taking the shot with your camera set to sport which will ensure the shutter speed is fast.
 
that eye has hardly been manipulated. i guess it counts, but fuck man.

its not about PHOTOS. its about HAND MADE ART. not just a photoshop filter..
 
i thought everyone agreed that the "eye" is out? (why does it count now?)
