Hello everyone, I'm relatively new here at bluelight and hope I'm posting in the right place. For exactly the last 7 days I've gone through six 30mg Vyvance, six 50mg vyvance and two 70's as well as 2 30mg XR adderalls. Now that I've started to calm down with my amphetamine rampage I've noticed that every single time I stand up I get that "head rush" feeling. Like when you stand up too fast and feel like your going to blackout for a second. All day at work I got this feeling bending over to grab something, in and out of the car I'd get it, even looking upwards to shave this AM it would hit me.

So I guess what I'm getting at is; is this due to my week long binger? I tried to eat as well as I could during this time (even though amphetamines don't really get my appetite going) Any ideas as too what might be going on with me? I really don't want to get out of bed tomorrow, blackout and knock my head on the floor! 8o

I think maybe it's a bloodpressure issue? I've gotten that before. I kinda enjoy it. It'll probably be gone when you wake up tomorrow

Yeah my buddy told me it could be something with my blood flow, but man it freaks me out, makes me all anxious while I'm trying to kind of back off the stims.

lol i took 80mgs of desoxyn over the last two days and im getting the same shit, im pretty sure its nothing to worry abou though %)

have you lost any sleep? cause that'll do it. I didn't sleep for a few days from desoxyn and had the worst headrushes accompanied by blistering headaches. also take lots of vitamins and eat a big meal and drink LOTS of water, especially with vyvanse, that shit gives crazy cottonmouth for some reason

You're on a stimulant binge. These symptoms are actually quite common once you get far enough into a binge. Have you been sleeping? If not, that's putting your body (and mind) under serious stress. The headaches could be a result of that, or a result of dehydration/lack of enough food.

Here's what you do:

-Stop taking stimulants, get some sleep, allow your sleep schedule to get back to a normal level, or at least a somewhat normal level. The supplement melatonin helps with resetting the sleep schedule and may be of additional help to amphetamine users because it possesses anti-oxidant properties.

-Take an Aleve (naproxen sodium) or ibuprofen for the headache.

-Make sure your hydration levels are where they need to be. Amphetamines (and stimulants in general, including caffeine) cause dehydration. Make sure that you're not just chugging gallons of water either. Your electrolytes need to be in balance, so water and sports drinks like Gatorade make a big difference.

-Do not consume alcohol if you want to get rid of the headache. It will only make it worse.

-Eat a balanced meal and take some vitamins. Even just a regular multivitamin will make a world of a difference after a stimulant binge. Vitamin C, magnesium, the B-vitamins, fish oil, and zinc are all extremely helpful. Of course, eating a balanced diet will get you all these vitamins and minerals anyway.

-I have low blood pressure (hypotension) and if I sit or lay down in the same position for an extended period of time and stand up really fast, I get a "head rush" feeling as well. This happens to me when I take amphetamines, could be due to low blood sugar as well though.

Good luck.

Yeah my sleep schedule was wayyyy off during that week. I slept for like 3 hours a night from 4AM-7 Monday through Friday, then come home from school and would get another maybe 2 hoours before heading out to work. Then none whatsoever over the weekend. I plan on getting a solid 10 hours tonight! Thanks for the advice y'all
