Television Weeds

Just watched episode 7 or 8 and I gotta say, this bitch has rapidly become a fucking suburban kingpin. Already got herself soldiers and shit.

"slap my ass. SLAP MY ASS!" =D

I think the Penny person is Josh... You know how Nancy took most of his business and he has nothing to lose... Oh shit! it can't be him she caught him in bed with that old guy she has him by the balls...

Has to be someone else... a new character perhaps ...

They already mentioned that one of the housekeeper's brother is pissed that she's taking his business (and she also made a reference to him in the parking lot in the first episode), so no doubt its that dude.

NOOO you mean last week was the finale?? crap. I was looking forward to tonights show :(

I thought the show was great, it gets better each week. the little kid cracks me up. That terrorist video he did was just hilarious.

ya think he is going to keep up with his fake anger issues and tattle on mommy??

Has anyone heard if Showtime is making more episodes yet ? Last i heard it was up in the air.

goddess i know, i am so anxious for huff to come back too. only i have to wait longer than you all, since i refuse to watch em individually, too much fun to watch em all in a row at the end of the season! :) think i may wait with weeds this time too, since they are so darn short.

The main character just seems so -low class-. She has kids and she's banging some rival dealer for territory and dealing with people jacking her and shit. It's kind of pathetic and sad. I'm all about people selling drugs, hell yeah, but that doesn't mean they have to be big players and prosititute themselfs for territory..

so a woman shouldn't be able to fuck a man if horny?the poor dear lost her hubbie and is lonely? i don't have such antiquated views on womens sexuality, so it didn't bother me.

she hasn't been happy with the cons that comes with the dealing. but really, look at this realistically, she fell into an easy business, dealing with safe neighbors....and it is evolving, the show shows how she is dealing with it, and deciding which way to go for the sake of the kids

keeping a child in their environment is much more important than you think. I would totally consider a criminal route to do that.

oh and also, it's fuckin tv :p 8) =D

No, she was cohersed into it... Remember his whole 'ultimadum' where she had to sleep with him in order to keep the peace/her territory ? I got nothing against horny milfs, but when they got kids and are running an illicit business with DANGEROUS people (that was the episode she got robbed also, btw...) she is not only putting herself in danger but her kids as well and that ain't fucking cool.

Of course I realize it's just TV, does that somehow mean that I can't have an oppinion about one of the characters and the bad light the media/she reflects on people who sell pot?

^ he said she had to sleep with him ? somehow i missed this. he actually implied sex ?
I got that it was an emotional thing for her. She did it because she was lonely for a man and didn't want a commitment with one (which is why she was pushing the dea agent away, because he was her type).
Now the dealer guy wants her because he knows she is a powerful one and he is infatuated with what she did to him.

what? he never spoke of sex, did you see the shock on his face when she came onto him? anyway, of no importance.

and i agree, I wouldn't personally run drugs with kids, but on the telly, it isn't a turnoff.

but then again, i haven't been in her position. if my husband died and I had thousands a month to come up with for a mortgage alone, not to mention everything else, shit, who knows...
