the blood pressure might have something to do with it, as marijuana does affect blood pressure, no?

i dont HAVE to stand up to get it, i can be sitting down, too.

but it makes sense that the sensation has to do with uneven blood distribution due to the amount of drugs in my body and how they are affecting me.

to those of you who want to think i just dont know what getting high is.... get a fucking clue.

theres a difference b/w a marijuana high and blacking out. i think you are the one who is confused as to the effects of marijuana 8)
 
If you have a volcano and access too some high quality hash try vaping the hash and taking it in as an elevator hit (meaning u crouch down and stand up during the hit). I swear it will give you a physical rush unlike no other, much more pronounced then when achieved from weed. My vision fades and the rush envelopes my brain with warmth untill it fades into a lesser high.
 
wesmdow i could care less about the issue but i read all your comments stop trying to be so pretentious cause you are doing the same thing all the people you are bashing are doing and you don't even realize it
 
^^^I am amazed at all of the people clearly describing oxygen deprivation along with being really high!!! Visual patterns, lightheadedness, feeling disconnected... come on people this isn't rocket science.
 
Ive noticed it, although its least pleasant with herb... On nitrous, i get this really good, and the taste ... yum...

I used to smoke heroin and get this, which would YEILD an H high.. those days....

But after a long day of working, holding that first bong hit in (on an adderall comedown no less) will often make my vision kind of fade out, the weed coursing through my lungs/head .. you can literally feel the weed make you stoned.
 
yeah many here are describing o2 deprevation. the only other time i have experienced such things you are experiencing are with nitrus and with psycadelics. With those devices not being used, you are experiencing o2 deprevation. think about it you are inhailing large amounts of smoke containing carbon monixide, carbon dioxide and what ever else is in burnt carbon matter, and holding it in for long periods of time continuiously. If it doesn't last for at least a half an hour it isn't the weed.
 
LOL. Wesmdow, I don't think people will ever actually get what you're trying to say dude. I'm not so sure of it myself either. ;)
 
I read the ENTIRE thread, my post still applies. You my friend are being stubburn. Which is fine you can keep thinking you are "special" and we will keep chuckling to ourselves.

It happens to me when I take monster bong hits of some good shit or shot guns over and over off a blunt. Last night I started getting that very good spinny feeling and it kept getting stronger and stonger and the computer looked all wavy and far away. I can't remember if I posted that somewhere on here last night or not... But I haven't had that happen in a while until last night.
 
well guys, it does happen to SOME people other than me... so i think that says something eh?

im just saying that i know what oxygen deprivation feels like--and this isnt it!

its pretty easy to differentiate b/w nitrous and THC, no? this feels like n2o....then YEILDS to a pot high.

Happened to me twice, roughly 7 months apart. I am living proof.


EDIT: I trust my shrink and hes mad cool, so I asked him what the hell happened after I had this happen. He said something about low blood pressure combined with some sort of movement that slows blood flow to the brain (sitting to standing, standing to walking, maybe even sitting and adjusting? cant explain the ones that occur sitting) resulting in reduced circulation to the brain and the characteristic symptoms. He says it isn't an immediate health threat, but to get it checked out if it starts occurring frequently or if you have a seizure (they check nervous function for damage from the seizure though i dont think this damage happens much).

So yeah, best advice I guess is make sure you are breathing fully/deeply into your lungs for good O2/CO2 exchange, and stand or move or whatever slowly, not quickly.

When it happened to me the first time I went from sitting in the car to standing (to leaning on the car to falling to the pavement), and the second time I had been sitting for a bit, stood relatively still for about 3 minutes and proceeded to walk somewhere else which would soon become my temporary mattress. :P

ok ive got one question for ya bigbenn: how long does it take for you to experience oxygen deprivation?

do you black out after 8 seconds of holding your breath?

do you black out after holding a drag of a cigarette for 8 seconds?

do you black out after holding a hit of weed for 8 seconds?

i would believe that its oxygen deprivation except for the incongruency of the evidence above. see, i can hold my breath for 1 minute and be absoulutely fine.

i can hold a drag from a cig for 20-30 seconds before it makes me sick (NOT DOING THAT AGAIN).

in neither of those experiments did i feel ANYTHING similar to what i refer to as weed world.

so, if it IS oxygren deprevation, why cant i get the same effects sans THC?

(this is a legit question, because im really curious. dont flame me)
