Weed Makes Everything An Adventure

After over a year of abstinence from cannabis, I had two huge bong rips of some chronic and experienced synthesasia. I thought that only a small minority of cannabis users can actually trip off weed but I experienced it first hand, it was not that pleasant of an experience though.

I don't live on Long Island, but I used to live in Brooklyn and had friends in Long Island - just a few months ago I was visiting and took that drive while completely blazed crazy! It really is gorgeous at night with no other cars on the road, the sky opening up above you and beautiful beaches on either side.

A huge portion of my teenage years were spent getting high and driving around all night through winding back roads. Anybody here live anywhere with an insane firefly population in the summer? Driving down a stretch of road that cuts between giant fields that just light up with fireflies at night is absolutely incredible when you're lit up (punny!) I totally recommend it, speaking of weed making things feel adventurous, that always made me feel like I was on a Lord of the Rings ride at Universal Studios or something.

We need to hang out. Get to Bluelighter status so we can talk in PMs. Haha <3 Thanks for making me feel special. I was really stoned when I wrote that up, so you can imagine how vividly I was remembering it.

I'm going to edit this up in my original post, because I just remembered the best part of the trip. The best part of the whole road is the stretch that is really bumpy. You feel like you're on a roller coaster and if you go fast enough you can make your stomach drop. Haha. It tickles and never fails to make me giggle like a little kid.

By the way, did you see the meteor shower over the beach when they opened Robert Moses up to the public? It was otherworldly.

driving high is great at night. it takes the edge off and feels like i'm operating a space ship or something. plus i'm a bit manic when i drive sober but if i'm high my driving ability improves (my friends can attest to this).

Adventure-Herb!

Weed always gives things a very adventurous dimension for me, particularly when hiking in the mountains, or just being out in nature generally. Ive been planning going to Yosemite w/ some ganja and mushrooms for quite some time now, can't wait to do that! :) Even in more mundane/urban settings, though, it makes everything seem especially novel and dramatic, especially when biking or interacting with other people. Among my friends, weed is referred to as the ultimate "Standard of Living enhancer".
 
Get High In Tahoe

Riding the slopes with herb is somewhat crucial. I went lobster hunting while scuba diving blazed and bagged my biggest bug. When i swim, hike or bike i prefer to be baked. It certainly heightens my senses and gives everything a greater sense of adventure. I think at least damn near a third of the folks riding a weekday powder day at sierra are baked.

"You're always so fucking adventurous, why can't you sit down like everyone else" I am always told this, but it's true I like walking outdoors or buying food from shops when I'm stoned because.. I dunno that's just me. And the thing about adventures is that they're NEVER boring. You'll always have more stories for later haha.
