Weed laced with synthetic noids? (THCO)

Hey! Weird one today - I got some reefer off some tweaked out guy, who warned me it's quite strong & was genuinely surprised by the effects. I live in the balkans where the market for just about everything is notoriously scummy.

I been smoking bud for like 16 years on and off between being a all-day-errday smoker & more every-now-and-then usage.

This stuff does not feel like any weed I've ever smoked - it's got zero sluggishness, very mentally clear, somewhat euphoric, delayed onset (around 15-30 minutes to full effects), no dissociation at all - I'm remarkably articulate and it feels almost like I've been on some acid, popped a benzo & smoked a spliff - like the actual effect feels like ive smoked a j on the tail-end of an acid trip, but got some downer to mellow me out in my system.

But like what the actual fuck, this isn't what normal weed does - i've smoked everything - high CBD weed, high CBD+THC weed, hash, dabs, you name it, but absolutely nothing has ever given me such a clear-headed and psychedelic high.

I'm trying to figure out if this is some trend in the black market that I'm just encountering for the first time - I have seen some sites pushing THCA flower & even advertising it on IG as legal weed that actually gets you high, I'm trying to figure out what the fuck this is & if it could be something like that? Closest effect description from my brief research is THCO, but I haven't been able to find any clear info on whether that gets passed around as regular bud in Europe now or what.

Mostly, I'm trying to figure out if this shit is safe to smoke - I actually love it, it is actually I guess like the weed I've always wanted to exist, but I'm nevertheless sketched out, because when I do drugs, I'm used to knowing what the fuck I'm taking. Morning-after is also different from real weed - usually my ritual if I got bud on me is to smoke 10 joints before bed & I wake up almost like my body's been reset and I got this pleasant sluggishness that almost defeats my ADHD for the morning after, but this one is quite weird - almost feel slightly residually stimulated the next morning. IDK, weird stuff

the million dollar question. no one knows. it impossible to say without a proper analysis.

i dabble here and there with these noids in vapes when i dont feel like rolling, eating, going outside or cleaning the huge mess from smoking i hit them. i keep usage low cause i had a couple bad experiences when the vapes ran out and shit got weird. stressful.

anyway be careful and if ya can try to stay with flower. a natural experience that is easier on our biology; for most i would imagine, anyway.

A) if you have to wonder if something is safe to smoke......dont fucking smoke it, man.

B) why the fuck are you smoking anything given to you by someone who you admit was visibly tweaking?

C) its probably some synthetic alt-noid sprayed onto some bullshit hemp. If it doesnt feel like weed, its not weed.

In the year of our lord 2026 there is no reason to be gambling like this with cannabis products in most countries in this planet

I wouldnt go near synthetic cannabinoids with a 10 foot pole. If you think your weed is spiked with that shit chuck it out imo

Way too many fucked up synthetics that could match that description. If you have even a slight suspicion weed is laced with other shit, especially as a proper experienced weed smoker, there is little chance your gut instinct is wrong. Its laced. Throw it, could be causing serious damage to you, you could OD or whatever. I've seen it happen multiple times when synths were abundant in my country. People taken away in ambulances, gray and passed out. I don't even know what happened to them, could be dead for all I know.

I've only come across laced weed once(that I am 100% sure of anyway) and that was in vietnam with some weed smuggled from china. Smelt like synth, taste like it, but looked like weed. Got me crazy high, had fractals, then while I'm dealing with all that had to manage a gang of vietnamese pirates surrounding me in a very awkward confrontation, in a dark and secluded area at 2am where no one would hear me scream no less, and when no one knew where I was haha. Had to act like I'm the danger in that one, gave them the "I'm so friendly and getting in YOUR space right now, there must be a reason I'm not scared at all" move and thankfully it worked. I still smoked all that shit though cause I was young and dumb and couldn't get anything else but I limited it quite a bit because it was awfully strong.

Sounds like a semisynthetic noid, which is flooding the EU market atm. I'm in the northwestern EU and came over some supposed THC-A weed last week that also hits very strange - visually it looks and smells great, quality buds through and through. But the effects... first time smoking it hit me like a train after only 10-20 seconds, which in itself was weird because usually with bud it takes at least 10 minutes for the full effect to set in. Not to mention I already had strong tolerance from smoking every day for a long period. To make matters worse, after just 2-3 hours the effects had mostly subsided and I was left with a mild headache and groggy sobriety. I'm also guessing THC-O or THC-P, maybe HHC, but I haven't tried any of those previously so I really don't know. Will be throwing it out for sure.
