weed in Canberra

So I'm moving to Canberra, Australia from Oakland CA (The weed capital of the US, in my opinion and I've lived in a lot of places in the US).

What should expect. Are the cops assholes, is the weed good, is it easy to come by? Anything helps

Cops are alot more relaxed doing their job downunder then in the US. Weed is a plenty, but it's pretty average stuff in most places unless you know a grower or grow yourself.

Im excited to move to Canberra, but I like having my legal medical card here in The Bay... I'm going to miss this place a little bit. I think I'm gonna miss baseball the most.

Like anywhere that hasn't legalised weed, weed in Canberra can be purchased from drug dealers who you will usually meet through friends. I lived there for ages and only ever met a dealer randomly once. There is great weed and there is shit weed and like everywhere in Australia, it usually costs the same regardless of quality.

Yep yep welcome to Australia. Unfortunately this thread is basically regarding availability discussion which is against the guidelines here. You should have no problem finding weed in Australia, the quality can vary greatly though. I wouldn't expect police to go soft on you if caught; I've yet to meet an officer who'd turn a blind eye. Also safest to think of Canberra as a large country town complete with the conservative attitudes held by a lot of the people that entails.... discretion is hence key.
