Weed in bong water?

I use a bong without a screen and sometimes like half a bowl goes into the water. I have like a quarter of weed in my bong. How can I get the weed out as easily as possible?8(8(

I separated the water from the green weed using a coffee filter and cup. Microwave for 5 seconds, air dry, it basically looks like resin with huge chunks of weed in it.
