i just got a cavity filled and they numbed my mouth with novacain. i wanna go smoke now, but im worried that the weed might make the numbing from the novacain really unpleasant. has anyone ever had any experience with this?

Watch out for excessive spit/drooling.
Minus that, if there're no open wounds in your mouth then you're good to go.
If there is an open wound, you don't want to smoke. If you absolutely have to, though, take the gentlest hits imaginable. Dry socket's no joke.
