Whats your favourite tunes when your blazing up?
Also we have a rule, when ever 'hits from the bong'
By cypress hill comes on everyone in the room has to have a bong before the song finishes. good fun, give it a go.

Music while high is the reason Cannabis is the most popular substance used among musicians and artists.

Most hip hop artists always have a joint with them in studio as it allows them to feel out the beat when high.

I know that back in the days when I used to rap here and there, if I was sober I was shitty as fuck at freestyle, but if I was high I could create rhymes out of no where and actually make my friends look at me in awe when I rapped at how I created rhymes out of no where. There is definitely something in the brain that THC does that enhances on-the-spot creativity.

In terms of the music I like to listen to while high, it has to be very mellowed out old school hip hop type music. I absolutely can't stand shit like fast techno or hardcore while stoned, although I can definitely enjoy some trippy trance. Here is a song I loved to listen to while high by amazing producer J Dilla (RIP), who made most of his beats while stoned so you can relate:

Look at the second top comment on the page, most of his music relates to the stoner who drives around town and slowly fades into the music:

I'm sitting in the back of an oldschool phantom, cruising at night as I explore downtown. I exhale the marijuana smoke while I let the bass line sink within me. This is how I feel when I listen to the song every time.

Nice and mellow man.
was just listening to leaving sideway-hilltop hoods.
If you dig hip hop give them a listen if you havent already.

They sound good man. Are they British? I respect the fact that even younger people are now starting to realize that real music is stuff that was coming out in the 80's and 90's. I think they might have sampled a 90's beat on that one. I've had enough of that Lil Wayne, Rick Ross garbage, they have single handedly ruined hip hop/rap. Either way I'm glad you listen to that type of music. Check this one out, "Dont Give me No Bammer (shitty) Weed " by the RBL Posse, another classic:

Yeah thats it, it seems anyone can call themselves an emcee and get a record deal.
Nah man from Australia. aussie hip hop isnt a massive scene over here, but those in it are die hard for the cause.
And yeah theyre prety old man theyd be in theire 30's or something. so your spot on about the 90's beat.

Man just gave rbl a listen. fuck yeah! Their on some shit man, love it.
You a fan of afroman at all?
Haha glad you liked it homie. There is so much good shit out there from back in the day, you just gotta look. I learn something new everyday just digging through records and old songs.

But yeah, Afroman was my shit. I went through a phase back in the later years of high school where I was slappin Afroman. I do think that their is a time and place for Afroman now, he is a very funny rapper lyrically. "Because I got High." Lol, that was my quote back in the day.

For sure man old school is always good.

Yeah i know what you mean.
My cousin is a crip and he knew him back when he was livin in the states so we rock his shit a fair bit.
Some people just dont get his shit though, which sucks
