if i smoked up twice or once on the weekends
would this really drag me down in school?
im currently in my last year of high school ( year 12)
but i tend to blaze more during school holidayz?
ne sugestions?

only you can determine that, we don't have your brain. although i find heavy usage and school (im in college, i didn't smoke in highschool) don't mix too well. if you find yourself slipping then cut back or stop altogether. don't make weed a priority. sounds corny but schoolwork > weed.

I smoked a lot my senior year.. not just on the weekend though, like everyday lol
I didn't have such a good year academically :/ I don't smoke anymore becuase I need to do well now that I'm in college... I think if you limit to weekends you'll be ok. Just don't get in the habit of everyday, I find it makes me really lazy. But everyone is different.

If you stick to the weekend and holidays, it shouldn't affect you negatively. That's what I did during highschool, and I was fine.

It all depends on the individual. From personal experience, marijuana affected my grades dramatically for the worse and that was at the usage and stage of schooling that you just mentioned.

I use cannabis too frequently, and it certainly slows me down. That said, its not devastating to my grades but I could certainly stand some improvement. Heavy pot use and school aren't the best mix. :)

I actually used weed as a study aid all through university, and smoked in high school. I only know a few other people who did this though. I would study for 2-3 hours, take a break and smoke, play a game of disc golf or hang out for an hour or two, and then study for 2-3 more hours. It turns me into a studying machine. I graduated with a 3.84 in Zoology Bio-Medicine, and am now studying medicine. I don't smoke anymore, but I don't notice a significant increase in how well I do in school. Take that as you will, but I don't recommend it unless you are disciplined and responsible.

Oh yea, I forgot to say I did pretty bad in high school, but that is because I never did anything outside of school, and skipped quite frequently.
