You know it! =D I got absolutely baked last night and just woke up. Going to spend the day hanging out, maybe work on my bike, then go see the fireworks. :)

In the spirit of harm reduction (as in harm of getting caught) there are ways to get small amounts of personal drugs through; it's our civil liberty right?

I flew to the US 6 months ago with a small amount of contraband and all was good. Get a well worn down deodorant stick, unscrew the stick until it comes off the threads. Inside the plastic shell of the deodorant stick put in your sealed bag of whatever and screw the stick back on and adjust it to the right height for it's intended use. Put a few armpit hairs on there to make sure it looks used. Stash it away in your checked luggage. Also act like you're not doing anything immoral or illegal, because in my (and your) book, you're not. You're just being yourself, doing what you enjoy to do and aren't harming a single soul. :)

haha, some music is.

I like music when driving in my car but I really don't listen to music much in other situations. I find lately when I trip music just bothers me and I'd rather have silence. I've had trips where the music made the trip but that's not the case anymore. When I trip I do sing songs in my head that got there from listening to them and feeling them while I was sober.
 
Sometimes when I'm tripping I have a whole music studio in my head.

Oh and satanic music can be great at times, even when tripping, can make for some helluva intense experiences. Hard techno is my favourite kind of "satanic" music, it's evil but not too evil, perfect for tripping occasionally IMO.
 
I've never been much of a music person. I never listen to music in my daily life other than in my car. OR when I'm with all my friends, who are all... music-y.

I only started listening to music because everyone else did, and I felt like I was missing some part of myself. One of my favorite people/person to trip with and I NEVER listen to music when we trip. Neither of us are musical people. It makes me happy. Music is much more fun to listen to while tripping, however.

Unlike people playing instruments. When people are in a room with you playing instruments, it's annoying as hell. :D Not a concert, that's more of a voluntary thing, you're going to experience a certain band. But with random people I know playing instruments... rage.
 
I'm the other way around, music has always played a big part in my life, and I almost always prefer tripping with some music on (save for outdoors trips of course).

I don't know about playing instruments, I'm more of an electronica kinda guy, our equivalent would be mixing records and tracks on the computer I guess, which is never annoying IMO when someone is doing in a room; or producing which I know annoys the hell out of some people, but we do it nevertheless when we're in the mood for it :D

So I guess I see your point, if you're an artist yourself it probably annoys you less when others are playing/producing, but if you're not it can sometimes piss you off when you're just trying to be social etc
 
It makes me feel worthless because I don't play an instrument. The fact is, though it's nifty and so on, there's a lot of other things about me that are also worthwhile. (or at least, I hope so.)

I think it's inconsiderate. Haha, this has happened a lot in the past week so... BASTARDS!
 
Sure, there are lots of worthwhile things about everyone. No need to feel worthless :)

I had that once, when I had been up for several nights... At the end of it I actually heard it, not just inside my head but as actual music... then I decided it was time to sleep.

It would be cool if you could somehow record the music that plays inside your head. Extract it from your brainwaves... maybe it will be possible in the future.

I like satanic music, because I am a satanist. 8o Not really, though I do like satanic/occult/dark music more then happy stuff. Burn them all I say....

Though to put thst in context, my favorite musics are dark/black ambient, darkpsytrance, black metal, drone/doom and electronic drone. Bit of nasty breakcore too :)

Watching the festivities on parliament hill on TV. The place is packed; I wish I was there on a nice dose of MDMA. It's only 2 hours away from me and I went a couple years ago and it was a blast. Definitely going to make plans on going next year. :) <3
