She is
Seventy two inches
Of more woman
Than most females have ever
Dreamt of being
Long, sensuous
~~~grace embodied~~~
A tall drink
Of the most quenching of water
I want to kiss her mom
For giving birth to this daughter
I never falter
Because when I am in her presence
Her essence
Has eased all the barriers down
And I am crowned
I am the man she thought she’d never meet
What with all the boys graveling at her feet
See we stand together
Equals on the field
This connection
Will yield
The purest of everything
My heart dangles
From her necklace
And represents
The best I have to offer
A solemn prayer
To take us there
Where all we have ever needed
Is given in a single glance
This chance we have taken
Has shaken us
To the sinew and bone
And I can promise that
If we ever do part
We will never again
~~be alone~~
I like the idea of your lover being "a tall drink" - that's a cool metaphor. :)
May your love last...
i dunno what to say except i really like it. it flows well, there's some kind of structure to it that works really well without having to make itself obvious, just like the subject always is. well done :)
