"Wayward Moth"

take a deep breath,
reflect on your life,
remember the times when it hurt.
she's electricity,
to a wayward moth,
blinded by instinct for sure.

but again and again I am waiting in vain,
in tear trickle rain under bright streetlights,
a black and white world built for two,
my own creation ready for you,
if only you would come.

(chorus)
cradle the embers, a burning pain,
but I've never felt warmer in a long time.
cradle the embers, a burning pain,
but I've never felt this way before.

willing to try,
stripped bare to the insides,
exposed to elements above.
hopes are falling,
like fresh snow from the skies,
still in my eyes shine love.

and again and again I am waiting in vain,
in tear trickle rain under bright streetlights,
a black and white world built for two,
my own creation ready for you,
if only you would come.

(chorus)
cradle the embers, a burning pain,
but I've never felt warmer in a long time.
cradle the embers, a burning pain,
but I've never felt this way before.
cradle the embers, a burning pain,
but I've never felt warmer in a long time.
cradle the embers, a burning pain,
but I've never felt warmer.

wonderfully said.

That which warms our hearts or fuels the fires of passion also has the capacity to incinerate us. But what a way to go. Beautiful pain & love. I'm very glad you shared it.

Indelibleface - I agree with Raz. I think this would be amazing to hear!

Raz - I was once Caress, many bluelight years ago. I think I pretty much lived in the Words forum. Things are a bit different now...just a ghost of some wonderful bluelight memories lingers. Thank you for your kind compliment.
