Way to stop salivating uncontrollably when taking hits?

everytime i get baked and am hittin the bong or something i always have to spit a small puddle after my hoot. seriously, after a sesh if im spittin on the ground there will be a big puddle left, or if i spit in a cup i'll practically fill it

Same with smoking cigarettes, i just salivate uncontrollably. I always have to spit.

its natural.
i assume its your mouths way of cooling and moistening itself.

such as when you eat a hot as fuck (spicy) pepper or whatever, you feel a flood of cold saliva come from under your tongue.

the saliva rush from bonghits, IME is tarry/smokey. not nice :(




dont worry man, its natural. be thankful you dont get kottonmouth EVERY time you puff ;)



as for controlling it, just spit it out i guess. or swallow. your choice :D
 
I hate when that happens - it's even worse than cottonmouth. :(

If I'm hydrated and take smaller hits, I don't get the weird salivation, though.
 
i think i have found a way to cure wetmouth.
last night i found out that if you keep taking bonghits, you eventually get kottonmouth.
if anyone wants to send me samples, i can test this theory out on different strains :P
 
yeah wetmouth sucks, i am a chronic sufferer (i didnt know that was a real word lol).
when i smoke any method i have to spit. it's more habbit than anything i suppose.
when i pull a hit i draw the air in, and force it over my tongue so that more tar is filtered out of the smoke (and collects on my tongue). scrap my tongue with front teeth, by sticking it out and scraping it in... get some nasty tar on the front teeth.. (easily wiped off lol) but glad it's not in my lungs. and that's why i always spit i guess, to clear my mouth of all the tar that gets on it from the smoke.

Happens to me too or used to. I always cough and spit and splutter when I'm smoking a lot. Just spit, w/e.

nah man, theres a difference between getting wetmouth, and butt-sucking (making the end wet) blunts/joints.

noobs buttsuck and pass on a soggen rag that once was a joint.
however most long term tokers like myself can control it, and spit it out instead of ruining it for others.
 
in Aus we cool that pool mouth. I don't know what causes it but it happens to me sometimes it's pretty nasty but maybe just eat something salty before you smoke up and see if that helps stop you drooling everywhere.
 
this happens to me, it's only been this past year but almost everytime i toke bong I have to spit out some shit afterwards. sometimes a drop sometimes a puddle. Must mean i'm getting older :(

Twas only a joke good sirs. I personally notice no different no matter what device I use for smoking, though edibles always give me cottonmouth like back in the good ole' days.

use a bottle, wash it out after each sesh tho.
nobody likes walking into their friends room to toke and being confronted with a full litre bottle full of spit.
