Don't use acetone. Methamphetamine isn't soluble in acetone.
Find another method. I believe denatured alcohol can be used as a solvent for purification here.

Use methanol. Dry it with epsom first, then heat it to just under its BP. Put your product in a glass dish and crush it to a fine powder. Add hot methanol til your product just barely dissolves, filter out the solids and discard. Product will rextallize as the methanol cools.
If you are talking about just doing a simple acetone rinse to remove surface impurities, dry the tone with a desiccant and put the dry tone in the freezer. Get it as cold as possible, the warmer it is the more product you'll lose. Put product in a glass container, and set up a funnel so you can filter quickly. Wet the filter with acetone, it helps keep product from sticking. Grab the ice cold tone and just barely cover your product with it. Swirl it about 10 seconds and quickly filter. Quickly xfer to glass plate to dry.
