Was this AMT (an old experience of mine)

Hi, im not sure what's possessed me to do so but im wanting to share an old experience of mine and see if what i actually took really was AMT. Anyways, I was at Bonnaroo in 2004, (i know...a long ass time ago) and i was going to go see the dead play. anyways...right outside of the big bonnaroo sign going into the main stage area there was guy selling doses. he wanted $5 a pop and i asked him for 2...he had led me to believe it was LSD and it was in a sweetbreath (breath freshener) bottle if i remember right. After he had dropped a couple drops straight onto my tongue I started asking him how good the stuff was as it wasnt like he had to convince me anymore...I had already bought it. He then proceeded to tell me how it was actually something called AMT and would feel like LSD only last longer...I had no clue what AMT was at the time...and really still dont know much about it but thought i'd try and get some info on it with the joys of the internet and bluelight now. Anyways....my timing may be off here but bare with me as im trying to recall it as accurately as possible...but after about 45 minutes I started to get a lot of pain through my extemities like my knees, shoulders and shoulder blades all had sharp pains shooting through them....i managed to walk over to the side of the field away from the crowd and I started puking my head off. It seems like I probably puked for a good 15 minutes and I walked back to a friend of mines vehical who had not parked far from the main stage...you could actually hear the music good from there. Anywho...it was still yet a long time before they were to take the stage so i just chilled at their camp for a while. I had actually gotten inside his SUV to get some good air conditioning for a while and i dozed off for a few minutes....well upon waking up I was tripping my balls off and I could hear the band jamming in the background. it felt like I was on really good LSD and all the pain and nausea had subsided by this time. I did seem to trip a good 8-10 hours but it wasnt uncommon at the time for me to trip 8 hr on good lsd then either. Has anyone else had similar experiences with AMT? I think it probably took about 2 hours to kick in...maybe a tad longer.

That experience is not consistent with AMT, the come-up was way too fast; AMT takes multiple hours to take effect when taken orally. It was likely one of dozens of other psychedelics that aren't LSD.

maybe i should take this thread down then...i didnt realize i was doing something wrong. Could a moderator please change the title to (my so-called AMT experience) so that its not against any site rules and doesnt provoke people to try and decipher what it was.

That does sound like AMT actually. Especially the puking. 2 hours to kick in is pretty normal.

I remember ages ago my friend saying AMT took 3 hours to kick in. So 3 of us dropped it 2 hours ahead of when we wanted to be tripping. We all got in my mums car ready to drive around, shopping etc and be dropped off in a forest 2 hours later, giving us 1 hour to spare.

15 mins into the drive we were tripping balls and on the verge of throwing up.

That does sound like aMT, and I suspect if someone sold you something as LSD but then later on told you it was another specific chemical, they were probably being honest. It's a shame people can't be honest from the get go.

Having said that, none of us can tell you for sure, so many psychedelics are alike and the only way to find out for sure would be to keep some and send it off for testing.
