was offered liquid lsd in a visine bottle...

Two random dudes came up to me at a rave and asked if I wanted liquid acid. He had in a visine bottle and was selling it for a reasonable price. He even gave me the rest of a bottle of liquor he had. (no lsd in jack daniels of course) I declined knowing that if it was actually visine, I would get sick. Was this the right choice? I also had to drive but wondered if anyone else had gotten their liquid in visine. I've never had liquid but have tripped on blotter 8 times.
 
given the amount of LSD you'd have to take (minuscule...) I'd doubt that even if it were visine, you'd get sick.
 
I was just curious, of course it was possible that it was just water. I had never met the guys.
I wasn't sure whether or not to believe them. I hear that consuming visine causes vomiting/diarrhea.
 
Well, after doing some WIKIing it seems that what you're saying has some basis anyway. Good call!

Anyway, I'd be pretty doubtful... I'm no chemist so I don't know about whether or not it's possible, but I've never seen that happen.
 
I've bought liquid acid in visine bottles before and I've gotten it in banaka bottles, could've been real might not have been, only way to tell is to try it, I would probably have someone else your with try it, first tell the guy to let so and so try a hit and if it's legit you'll get it. Case closed
 
could be anything including liquid acid. could also just be two guys with a bottle of visine who realized if they say the right thing they can sell the whole bottle for $5 a drop
 
A dude I used to know would have his LSD in a breath-mint dropper bottle.

Also, at the high school I went to, you could literally be suspended for just having REAL visine in a dropper bottle, because it COULD be LSD.

So, it could have been LSD and it could have been Visine and it could have been plain old water.

You could have dropped it in your eye, that way if it was Visine it wouldn't be any different than dropping Visine.

But they were probably just going around ripping people off in all honesty.

So good call.
 
Most liquid LSD I have come into contact with gets put into the 3ml Ice Drops vials (the plastic ones) once it gets down to the "vial level"... So it definitely could have been legit. I don't think that a few drops of Visine in your gut would affect you anyway...

But trust is something that you need when dealing with L... I don't think I would ever try to buy it at a rave, ever.
 
bought some from a visine bottle in 1979. i got in the back of a friends bug and he told me to hand him the sugar cubes and visine bottle under his seat. he put one drop on each of the two cubes. i was a little sceptical and i asked him for another drop or two for good measure. lol he said i would not need it and sent me on my way. those 2 little wonders had me on the ride of my life for 16 amazing hours!

mind you this was 1979 and in the hills of california. you turning that down was a good move on your part. it was most likely a rip off.
 
I've had LSD from a visine bottle twice.
Once on cardboard, once on fruit-roll ups. (Gel tab? No clue, isolated from LSD culture.)

I'm going to take a 5th go at it in a few days. : D Last time was in the hills of Arkansas, summer 2007. OT. I'm thrilled.
 
Right, on the topic of buying (strong) drugs at a rave: it's not really safe unless you know people personally who have dropped like an hour earlier and can attest to the legitimacy, and even then...
If the visine bottle was a type that is pretty much 'sealed' meaning that what is in it is put in there by the producer of that bottle, that's the kind of lens liquid bottle I know of anyway. Perhaps it's possible to suck up liquid acid by pressing a vacuum but it seems a bit silly.

On the other hand, visine is not much more than water and boric acid and LSD is dosed in little droplets. That kind of quantity couldn't hurt, not seriously anyway. There appear to exist additives though:

A common urban legend is that a few drops of Visine in an unsuspecting victim's drink will cause a harmless bout of diarrhea. This will not produce diarrhea, but oral administration of Visine can induce dangerous side effects related to Visine's ingredient tetrahydrozoline hydrochloride such as:
Dangerously low body temperature (hypothermia)
Blurred vision
Nausea and vomiting
Difficulty in breathing or even a complete halt in breathing
Elevating (hypertension) then dropping (hypotension) blood pressure
Possible coma
Seizures and tremors
Pfizer recommends that anyone ingesting Visine get medical attention or contact a poison control center immediately.[2]

even considering the above I would be amazed if 1 single drop would produce something remotely like that. It would make visine just about lethal if you think about it.
