Who knows if the ecstasy effected him or what not. Many famous people can be very successful but so fucked up on drugs and still releasing albums after albums. Even deadmau5 is huge and he uses speed. Just because so many people like him and he puts out a lot of albums doesn't mean the drugs aren't affecting him.
That's very interesting, it's like once they reach a certain status or fanbase they can operate without being in the greatest head space. He named his company "Thizz" in 1999, died in 2004 - by 2004 he was talking about ecstasy as a common reoccurring subject throughout his music. I'm wondering if he was a smart user and spaced out his experiences or if he just had a whole lot of serotonin to spare
