Was it LSD or DOx? This ones a toughy

Ok, so I have done LSD before and I know what it is like and what to expect. So this weekend I dropped 2 hits of "LSD" (blotter) When I put it on my tounge it tasted very bitter, so bitter that myself and my girlfriend couldn't stand it and had to swallow it only leaving it on our tounge for at most 2-3 mins. I felt the initial physical effects of LSD that I normally do after 30 mins (leg jitters, body chills etc) as usual, Color enhancement after the usual hour and half as I usually experience. The actualy visual distortion really didnt kick in till about 3 hours after, which was not usually what I experience. After those visuals kicked in it seemed just like an LSD trip, and counting from when visual distortions occured the actual trip was about 6 hoursor so. Any explanations or was it DOx? Would I have known if it was DOx compared to LSD as I have taken pure LSD before this, or would there be no difference in experience? Thanks!

It was probably DOx; they're so intensely bitter it feels kinda like a chemical burn in your mouth for a bit.

That said, there's no way we can tell you what you took-- its just not possible.

Although of course I can't tell you what you took; I've had some LSD that tasted bitter, but which had been tested (not by me; but by someone else who'd bought from the same batch) and found to be LSD. The suggestion was that the bitterness was to do with the ink of the design (in this case, Hoffmans bicycles 2008 ) rather than the chemical in the blotter. The time course and qualitative experience seemed like LSD in my (and others') views; although I haven't personally tried a DOx to compare with.
 
How long didyou trip? Based on how long it took to start getting the visuals I would guess DOx but there is no way to tell for sure.

No "What did I take?" threads, I'm afraid - all anyone here can do is guess. You're best bet is to try the acid thread in your regional forum to see if anyone else has used the prints you did. Acid can sometimes take a while to come on (especially after a meal) but DOx tends to last 20+ hours and is generally a lot more speedy than acid. Other than that it's all pure speculation so I'm gonna close this one - do try your regional forum though as they may well be mentioned in there :)
