I think the point is not to jump to conclusions is you do not have evidence to suggest something. When dealing with rape, even an accusation is a very serious matter. If you are going to accuse someone of something like that then you better be damn certain cause even an acquital can still ruin a man's life.
If she actually was drugged than the guy in question certainly deserves to be prosecuted and locked up in "federal pound me in the ass prison" but at this point it is not a foregone conclusion. You are talking about someone's life here, so if you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about don't be so quick to jump to conclusions.
During a night of heavy drinking/drug use sometimes shit happens that both parties regret but that was CONSENSUAL AT THE TIME, that is it wasn't rape but it wasn't exactly a loving union either. Waking up next to some random person is not cool, but at the same time does not prove you were raped and drugged either.
I guess it probably is too late for a drug screening by a toxicologist, but if a woman (or a man) ever suspects rape then going to the hospital for a full physical screening and blood work is the only thing to do. Armed with the facts a decision can be made, not with some useless opinions on an Internet drug board! (Not that all BLers opinions are always useless, but in this case no one here knows what is up, so how can anyone claim to tell you "Yes you were drugged and raped" or "No you were not").

Ok, I will agree that none of us actually knows what went on, and I'm not trying to prove or disprove anything. She came to us for information regarding the way she felt and to see if a drug could have been, or was likely to have been involved. Somehow, everyone (including myself) turned this into a debate on whether or not she was raped. Some of the comments made were pretty brutal and not helpful in answering her question. The question is was she drugged??not was she raped?
So ambryanne, I'm sorry if this thread has caused more confusion on your part than clarity, and I hope you can find the answers you are looking for somewhere in here.

I've been hearing an awful lot about supposed surreptitious GHB dosing these days and want to give my two cents.
I have extensive experience (my own and first-hand observations) with GHB and it really bothers me when people who put themselves in already compromising situations claim to have been dosed. First of all, GHB, even in large doses, doesn't just knock you the fuck out all of the sudden. It comes on and the effects grow more intense over a reasonable amount of time. These effects are distinctly different than alcohol and in my opinion are too often claimed to be indistinguishable.
As for amnesia, I've never experienced it with GHB unless I combined it with massive amounts of weed. Not that it couldn't happen.... I believe the physiological effects of amnesia are still not fully explained.... and everyone is different, but ask yourself what the most likely source of a fuzzy memory is. Could the booze and dank have something to do with it?
If you honestly think you were dosed, get a toxicology report within 24 hours. Many college campuses are starting anonymous toxicology programs for students who think they have been dosed. I should note, that of these fledgling programs, none have yet to conclusively find GHB dosing (I'm referring to two large Midwestern universities that have offered anonymous testing to students over the last six months).
In my opinion, if you're relatively inexperienced with alcohol, you probably shouldn't get fucked up and get it into your head that the reason you were so fucked up was because someone dosed you. I'm not saying that the individual in the original post was inexperienced or not dosed, that's not for me to say, but I've noticed a lot of young kids talking out their ass when they don't have much experience.
As for mixing alcohol and GHB....it's generally a bad idea, but I've done it hundreds of times and the only reason I'm still here to talk about it is that I know exactly how my body responds to both substances and I know how much is too much of either. If you don't have experience, don't fuck around. Nothing is more pathetic than going out and watching some stupid kid slipping in and out of a G-hole, drooling all over the expensive outfit their mommy bought for them. T minus 10 seconds until the bouncer sends you and the friend trying to keep you from aspirating your own vomit out the door.
And while I'm making one of my relatively rare posts, I want to bitch at those low-life motherfuckers out there who are selling GBL to kids and telling them it's GHB. It ain't the same shit, and although the pharmacology is similar, over the long run, it's a lot harder on you, in my opinion.

IMO - could have been drugged, might have just passed out from the drinking/weed though... honestly, the notion of guys slipping GHB into girls drinks isn't common..
Either way, get one of those morning after pills...
