Warning: Sniffer dogs at london tube stations

I might have sounded like a prick, buy honestly, you could have avoided your situation. Really could have avoided it, really pushed your luck to far.

You chose the crown jewel tube station for drugs. No escape either.

aye but if someone is not aware of this they still deserve sympathy for a drugs charge

I see them reasonably frequently at Bethnal Green (where I live).

If you are going to fabric via Farringdon with drugs on you, sorry mate, but two cents of common sense and you would have been ok.

Generally drugs and the tube are a no no.

I'd like to second the BL'r that called you a prick.

What a ridiculous, pointless comment. I suppose you just hang around the dance floor waiting for people to offer you pips?

I was quite surprised to see ten or so with dogs in my local tube station last week, especially cos I had a bag of grass on me. Luckily I was going in not coming out so a bit of miming saw an urgent phone call come through which I had to go above ground to answer. Working out a route back was a nightmare though.

No, I use common sense, and never push my luck, i.e going to Fabric via Farringdon with drugs on me. That is something I knew long before I ever even moved to London.

I am as much a prick as some people are naive, when it comes to carrying drugs. If you get caught with drugs at Farringdon, which has had sniffer dogs since Fabric opened, and Turnmills was still open. This is something that has a TEN YEAR history, it was not something random, it is very well known. It is THE number one hot spot as I said, in London, for lazy police officers, to catch clubbers with drugs on them, who like to gamble.

Haha never heard about the dogs at farringdon, good job i always get a cab there.

sniffer dogs are my main source of paranoia, after nearly having my leg bit by one in coventry. I had a few hits of acid in my bag, though I imagine they caught the scent of my own dog when I walked past.

A friend of mine had a hissy fit when the bouncers searched him going into fabric, claiming it was because he was black.. in reality it was because he was on ketamine

Always carry a BAR of dark chocolate(80%+ is better) and feed it to dog with left hand. that will learn them.

Yeah do not carry via Farringdon get off one before or one after and walk.

I'm sorry fella but you are speaking utter bollocks....
after countless nights gurning my way to fabric and turnmills, never once did I see the plod at farringdon station.

It is NOT well known whatsoever, unless it has been introduced in the last year. Ten years? Sorry, not true..

Anyway - the station that seems the most likely to have sniffer dogs is tottenham hale. Caught my mate with a henry of green and two pills about 5 years ago......Was let off with a caution.

there were loads of sniffers at bestival, luckily they didnt come near me though, had plenty of clove oil though, and dog repellent called vapet that you can buy from poundland!

tbh I think dog repellent will probably work against you as if the plod see one of their dogs suddenly leap away from you they're going to want to know why.

They use bastard tactics where there is no escaping! Not sure if anyone know manchester picadilly train station but you HAVE to go down these set of escalators to exit the station, once your on them your fucked, noticed them at the bottom waiting, either run back up or run past lol, I did neither the dog smelt me but didnt smell my pills for some reason, I was getting ready to BOLT lol was only two coppers one a fat woman and some other old man....

Jeez, sounds like a hobbit coulda outrun 'em ;)

Back in the 90's I came outta The Comedy Store, after a small house all-nighter, with a couple flat Doves in me hand. Headed towards Picaddilly for the tube & didnt notice a LINE of rozzers blocking the whole pedestrian pathway... Was maybe 3 feet from them, noticed & dropped the pills...

. . . then walked straight through the line, easy as piss & spent the rest of the day KICKING myself for spinelessly dropping two superb little pills Lol

LOL, no you don't!!! You can just walk straight out the main exit that leads towards Picadilly Gardens. The only reason I ever go down those escalators is to get to the taxi rank on the other side of the station.

Oh, and even when I have gone down those escalators, I've never seen a sniffer dog at the bottom. Infact, I've never seen a sniffer dog in Picadilly Station at all (which is funny because they always have a sniffer dog on the door of the Warehouse Project, which is about a 1-minute walk from Picadilly Station).

I'm glad I'm not the only one wondering what the hell mattnotrik was on about, I was starting to question my memory. I got the train into Picadilly a year ago to go to the WP and walked in with a g of mephedrone in my pocket without issues.
