Word of advice to those who use PillReports site: Must be careful to be not posting specific incriminating details of drug use.

This includes photos of self or friends with pills, photos that include identifying detail of home or venue, email address, real name, event name, hotel or business name.

Use common sense. Make report short and direct. Offer no additional information. State effects of pill and do not volunteer information about number of pills consumed, purchased or other people involved. Be conservative to make yourself seem like small-time user at worst.

If cops not following website before, they are now. You are being watched always. Posting report on site is admission of crime in-writing.

Law enforcement is trained to look at harm reduction movement as conspiracy to commit crime and encourage others to commit crime. Do not be stupid to give excuse to shut down harm-reduction site.

Be Careful
Be Safe
Take care of each other

HOLY SHIT!! Everybody HAS TO read this article. It's scary! Be careful what you say in your comments, as well. Why can't they understand that pillreports is a good thing? There is a link to bluelight on there, so it's only a matter of time before they're on here, too. Think before you write, everyone!

my friend they are on here for sure.

i wouldn't doubt it

you MUST be very carefully what you say.

If i spent any time at all in the United States of America i would be very weary as to what i may be writing over the internet....

Fortunately i move around alot and dont spend anytime anywhere anyone has ever been prosecuted for posting information regarding to personal consumption or cultivation of prohibited narcotics,

although i am sure it's gonna be the same all over before long if the WORLD POLICE have anything to say about it....

Dude, did you read the article?? Of coarse they're watching. I accidentally mentioned a place near me, and a week later cops were all over it. Don't be so sure....

Also:
When posting photo of pill, only two maximum in picture please. Many pills in photograph can draw "intent to distribute" charge.

Do not admit selling or giving pills to other people. Buying ten pills from dealer to sell or give eight away to friends is still narcotics distribution charge.

That seems a bit overboard man.... U simply mentioned a place and cops were all over it? If you said some stupid shit like "those three guys that live at that address sell the best crack around" including the address and shit.

Just use common sense people.

Cops have been watching PR and BL for years. Our guidelines explicitly advise you not to post incriminating information.

So perhaps it isn’t surprising that local clubs where detectives are certain the drug was being taken increased the price of their bottled water.

what the fuck, way to go guys

+1

Never post anything on the internet that you'd be ashamed for your mother to see...much less BL or PR.

MOD EDIT: All of that is not necessary. Please don't bring even further unwanted attention to this site by inflaming the people that watch. ~RB

I know it's their job BUT they still choose to be a rat.:X Yeah the laws suck too but anyone has the choice to be a rat or not. IMO rats should be stuffed in the sewer with the rest of the filthy rats and sewage. Hey to you rats, does it feel good to be a rat? You coward pigs=D

^^^ I understand your beliefs but please tone it down a bit, this is not the correct forum for a personal rant. I don't want to see this thread derailed and trashed. Thanks. :)

I sent the bitch who wrote that article quite the e-mail. I think it'd be a good idea for more people to e-mail the author of this article and let her know how strong this community is. Here's the contact page: http://www.lasvegassun.com/staff/abigail-goldman/contact/

This is what I sent her:

I wanted to let you know I read your article regarding pillreports.com and I found it to be very misleading and filled with propaganda. The aim of pillreports.com is truly to spread harm reduction. There is no ulterior motive for the site as many people would like to believe. The members and staff are all volunteers, some of which are very knowledgeable when it comes to MDMA and neurochemistry in general, (unlike you).

The fact of the matter is that people are going to use drugs no matter what, so there needs to be some sort of resource available where users can learn the facts.
The government sure isn't going to help drug users stay safe, they'd be more than happy to let users die so they can justify their ludicrous war on drugs. The media seems to also have a field day whenever a drug related tragedy occurs. It's good for business apparently.

I also find it comical how you compare red wine to ecstasy as if ethanol alcohol is a completely safe substance. There are many more alcohol related deaths compared to MDMA related deaths which are virtually nonexistent.

"For every 20 reports about good Ecstasy experiences, Davidson said, there is one from a user who got sick.

Police aren’t fans of such sites. Gentner called them “pro-drug.”"

Isn't that ironic? The police are against such sites, but what is their plan to prevent people from getting sick? Every single pill in the world can't be seized. Prohibition doesn't work.

Keep quoting random statistics. I'm sure the majority of the population will find your articles compelling just because they don't know any better.

^^^ This is an excellent idea, but I encourage everyone to be nice and make your point like sonic has done without directly insulting the reporter. Curse words and venom get you nowhere and make people who believe in harm reduction look bad as a whole. We already have enough stigma as it is, please don't add to it.

Remember, don't say anything you'd be ashamed for your mother to read. :)

Thanks for sending that email, sonic. :D

^ No problem. I agree that if you're going to send an e-mail, you should keep it professional. Let her know that the stereotype that all MDMA users are uneducated and unintelligent is untrue.

let us know if you get a reply sonic, i'm interested in what his reply would be. you said it perfectly in that email, whether you'll get some sort of apology is doubtful but still...

kudos.
