☠ WARNING ☠ Warning: Mislabeled Batch of 2C-B-Fly That Has Caused Deaths

so, we are wondering... will smoking pot affect JoanMiro at this point?

His heart rate is down and he's not so anxious now.
Its now almost 30 hours after ingestion, and still has a general feeling of un-wellness
"not normal whatsoever" he says

and what is a decent dose of clonazepam, as he's not a regular benzo user?
 
2mg is the maximum clonazepam sized tablet here in the US. I'm not really a doctor or anything, but I'd think right now 1.0-2.0mg would be a decent dose. I've never used the compound listed nor have I used clonazepam for coming off a trip, but in previous difficult experiences with substances a similar sized dose of diazepam (10-20mg) helped me greatly.

Look...I don't mean to be rude, but I'm curious exactly what the hell you might be thinking. He was poisoned by an unknown chemical, and you are asking if it's OK to add other chemicals into his blood with it? Do you expect us to magically know what was really in that bag so that we can tell you if it's ok to take other drugs?

He ALMOST DIED. Do you get that? How about NOT taking drugs until he's better? I know I'm being harsh, but I can't help but wonder what the flying fuck people are thinking sometimes.
 
As a non-regular benzo user, 1 mg is usually enough for me, but I don't think 2 mg would be pushing it either.

Personally I would probably wait to smoke weed until feeling pretty normal, but who knows - it could help or it could make things worse. But as nobody really knows what is in this stuff or how weed would mix with it I'd say it's probably safer to wait. It sounds like there wouldn't be a physical risk to his body, but again no one can really say
 
I'm sure 1mg would be fine. He should probably get some sleep soon if he hasn't already, before he consumes any other compounds. I didn't feel normal with the DOB until after I had about 12 hours of sleep.

Thank you, i fucking get it. he almost died. im not a fucking idiot. thats why hes over here right now.

We will wait for a toxicology report from the first batch to find out what was really in there, like everyone else, and hope that we actually find out what it is.

The clonezapam is similar to diazepam, which he was given in the HOSPITAL and is used to help you come down from tripping...

But, maybe he shouldn't smoke marijuana? because it can increase heart rate and enhance your trip?

Lets hope that everyone who has part of this batch is warned before it's too late.
Hopefully JoanMiro is the last one.
 
If I were in his position I'd skip the weed and just knock myself out with 3 or 4mg of the clonazepam. I would't want any additional sensory stimulation... even a smoke.
 
My trips have never been enhanced on pot, but I smoke like a freight-train (hence my username). I smoke frequently and heavily on MDMA/mushroom comedowns.

I honestly see no issues with getting high, taking 1-2mg of klonopin and passing out. After the time he's had, getting high and passing out might feel like the most normal thing.
 
This is sad news. Its a shame that it has taken something like this for me to think about getting my 2ce and 2ct7 batch tested before i try it.

I dont know where/how to go about it though. Any cheap online testing kits?

My heart goes out to joanmiro, and generally to all victims of experimental chem-tasting.
Yes there is a harm reduction factor and careful enough approach e.g. titration should guarantee a certain margin of safety but in the end there is no such thing as a perfectly safe trial and I'm not even mentioning incidental idiosyncracies....

....still, I - and I'm sure many others here - mourn every mistake and casualty, because to err is human and it is just not realistic to think you can be completely prepared for what you do...

Hopefully this sort of thing will make people think twice about these things!
 
I am going to be ALOT less carefree with my RC dosing from here on out. I usually only test a substance in tiny amounts when it's the first time I have had it from a certain vendor, not if it is the same vendor but a different batch. Sad it takes something like to this to be a wakeup call but life's all about learning.
 
joanmiro, if i were you i would smoke a nice fat blunt to make yourself feel better
 
I dont see any harm with a little pot.

As far as folks reporting a lot of "off feelings" for 24+ hrs, thats to be expected. Like there are afterglows I believe this thing probably has an "afterdim."

I mean you take 6 hour DXM, and you get a glow lasting all next day. You drink too much, you get a hangover. You OD on a 20 hour psychoactive, you're gonna feel weird for a couple days no doubt about it.

Just hang tight. Your brain probably doesnt have a piece missing. Its just tired.
 
This is such an awful thing to happen. My heart goes out to all the victims and their families. This really is a wakeup call.

Has anyone figured out what was in this bad batch? On Erowid they say they suspect Bromo-Dragonfly, Just wondering if this has been confirmed yet.

All that is known is that it was not 2cb fly, thus far. As soon as details are released I will post them.

Thanks for posting that linky, Pepper. I hadn't really read all that much beyond what I'd seen in this thread and snippets here and there but reading the trip report from one of the survivors just put a sizeable lump in my throat. Horrid events

I feel that not enough detail was written. It seems like I should have written more. I was tired at the time. It was really worse than I make it sound. I must have vomited a million times.
