I just thought it best to let the world know that I got very ill last night. Quick background; I've just finished
sweating out morphine withdrawals on a friend's property (far-north queensland). The friend I'm staying with has a
fucked up back and she's prescribed 30mg reformulated oxycodone and every so often she'll let me have one of her
pills to help me out. She takes hers as directed (swallows whole), they take about 1 and 1/2 hours to kick in and
last 12 hours, though they don't really give much of a euphoric high. I would chew and suck em, letting it slowly
dissolve and absorb through my tongue, gums and roof of my mouth (the best way in my opinion to get past the slow-
release mechanism, taking 30 minutes to kick in).
Anyway, the junkie I am I was determined to inject some. First I tried freebasing some, just like converting cocaine into crack, with the idea to add some citric acid before injecting; unfortunately I also freebased the added plastic shite and ended up drinking some foul tasting
sludge. Next I tried a procedure that I read on this site. 1: cut the pill into little pieces (cleaned, chunky
nail clippers work great) 2: bake in the oven at around 160c till it turns golden brown and goes gooey 2:stick it
in the freezer for 15 minutes or so, it'll turn hard instead of gooey. This seemed to work well, I got a nice
taste though judging by the murky yellowish texture of my liquid (I used 2ml of water and my primitive wheel filter
sort of method; I use a larger than normal filter pulled from a wad of cotton wool and without a tip on my barrel I
push down real hard, keeping the pressure pull the plunger back and hold while very well filtered liquid bubbles
through- I've used this method to get crystal clear hits from milky sludge of endone, buprenorphine, kapinol,
dexamphetamine, etc, etc..,) I held reserves in the back of my mind regarding a self-assured intelligent man doing
something that is obviously fucking harmful to the body - at Youthlink needle exchange in Cairns the chick working
there showed us this little tub with a large smudge of hard plastic inside it, the same yellow my shot was
tinged with, some guy had brought it in, told her he put his pill through two different types of wheel filter and
got a clear shot though out of curiosity he chose to let it evaporate to see what it would leave behind.
Anyway the point of my post is a warning, this method made me real sick last night. First shot was fine, had
another in the early evening. At first I though that this cold that everyone around me has been getting has
finally got me (my second shot baked a bit different, went much more gooey and after washing it a second time it
pretty much all ended up dissolving, alarms bells rang but I ignored em). Then came the familiar freezing shivers
and shakes that I know from getting a dirty hit - the pleasant buzz of the oxy shattered to feeling like I was
hanging out real bad - though I knew I didn't have withdrawals. Now at 3pm the next day I still don't feel right,
it may take me a few days to fully recover.
There is no way I'll ever inject these again, I'll just chem em when I feel like opiates and there's noting else
around, unless someone shows me a way to extract just the oxycodone from the pill, with solvents and stuff. It was
surely be a massive fuck around for a shot, a whole box though would be worthwhile - I'm sure it's not that hard.
I wouldn't be surprised if we start seeing oxy powder around - some folks out there have just lost their business.
Anyway, if you claim to be intelligent (many drug fiends are) then you're a fucking fool to shoot these new oxys
unless you can be sure you got NO plastic in there. I doubt that shit will ever leave your body. And for those
people who are doing it regularly, well don't say we didn't warn ya in years time when things start going wrong
with your body - risk of stroke will probably rise off the charts.
